Those socks are brilliant, and I too love the owl jumper! Almost makes me want to knit... but I've spent the last few days making gnomes to - well, possibly sell, but possibly just decorate my stall next weekend & then be distributed amongst the family! I also made up some kits for people to make their own; my customers are a creative bunch. They're made out of felted moth-eaten jumpers & blankets (frozen for a month then hot-washed) old leather buttons and left-over spinning fibre, so no coupons were damaged in the construction of my little army...

I've just had to pull back a lot of rows on a straight piece of crochet, so I'd better get back to it. I've put light-up crochet hooks on my wish list: do you think the ARP fellow will make me put blackouts round them if I get them?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Yes, I agree, @thriftwizard those gnomes are super. My friend has been making /crocheting gnomes to sell as well.
