Some more coupons to declare - 1 dress, 1 jumper and a pair of stretch leggings (Kate's clothing had 30% off).
I wasn't sure about the coupons for leggings - I've gone with twice that for stockings so 4 coupons. If that's wrong, I'll be happy to correct2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

Here's an article about non-snag/ ladder-resist tights - a company guaranteeing theirs for years on end now...!
Useful reviews at the end of several, rather cheaper, brands too.

I realised recently that all my warm winter skirts are either actually completely the wrong colour for my warm winter woollies (golden-olive-green skirt with bright vivid green jumper? ouch...) or don't fit me any more or need repairing, or are so long and full that I actually have to take it off when I come into the flat as it demolishes everything as I walk past, or, or, or...
So I've ferreted in my ludicrous collection, and am now using some black fine-wool suiting I was given by a friend as it had mouse-nibbled holes right through the multiple folds but was otherwise (!) completely fine to make a new skirt, suitable for wearing in a small flat (!)... I've dismantled a skirt that was horrible synthetic fake-dupion with ghastly static and in a colour that went with virtually nothing from the start (not a good purchase, that fabric!) because it was exactly the right shape, so I now have a fabric pattern...., and I dismantled my lovely old grey silk skirt because after 3 years or more of hard wear it had yellowed from sunlight and worn very thin in places - looked awful as a skirt but enough is salvageable to make a petticoat.
So I hope by the end of this week when temps plummet I shall have a comfortable wool skirt and silk petticoat AND I have got rid of two unwearable skirts!                         2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66: AND I have got rid of two unwearable skirts!                         2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66:

            Hi all,
@Gem-gem, love the garland and I'm with you not wanting a plastic tree. In the past I have always had a real tree but I don't think I will this year unless a miracle happens and all the jobs get done but I do love the lights so I may just put some in the porch
I have spends to declare. I have ordered an oodie for OH for Christmas as I am fed up with the complaining about feeling cold all the time and I am refusing to turn the heating up. Most of the time I am in a t shirt and jumper. Anyhow I am thinking 10 coupons based on 7 for a frock, gown or dress ,(not wool ), plus 3 more to account for the hood. What do you think Pip? I will go with that for now but I am happy to change it . So 36.5 - 10 = 26.5 remaining . So 36.5 - 10 = 26.5 remaining
 Take care everyone6

@Mrs CD, I guessed at 10 coupons for the oodie I got but I am not sure if that is correct, and mine was for the adult size so I might have to change it
 Take care everyone1

Thanks @Liverpool_Anne I'll count it as 10 for now, unless we hear otherwise!2025 Fashion on the ration

@Wraithlady, I’ve always treated leggings as foot-less tights and 2 coupons each.Wraithlady said:Some more coupons to declare - 1 dress, 1 jumper and a pair of stretch leggings (Kate's clothing had 30% off).

@MrsCD, isn’t an oodie just an elaborate dressing gown? I took a look at the source photo from page 1 and a Man’s dressing gown is 8 coupons, a boy’s 6 - women’s aren’t listed - so treat your daughter’s as a boy’s dressing gown.MrsCD said:Ermmm, how many coupons for an oodie, please? @Liverpool_Anne, as I said to Mrs CD, treat it as a man-sized or boy-sized dressing gown.Liverpool_Anne said:@Mrs CD, I guessed at 10 coupons for the oodie I got but I am not sure if that is correct, and mine was for the adult size so I might have to change it

Apologies for being AWOL. It’s due to a combination of month end - thank god that’s over - and having my choir’s Carol Concert on Saturday night. I am so looking forward to the Christmas break.

ETA, here’s another shot of the original clothing coupon notice:
"Be the type of woman that when you get out of bed in the morning, the devil says 'Oh crap. She's up.'
It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it - that’s what gets results!

I’d say it’s a Siren Suit for keeping warm in the air raid shelter. You see advertisements for them in old magazines, does it say anywhere what the coupons were?It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!3
