Sorry to hear about the job and the creative deadline, there will be others.
GF bread is getting v expensive.
Congratulations on the win and clearing your list.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Thanks @MovingForwards
A good day today. Albeit a bit spendy...
Fares were kept to a mindful minimum but still paid out £7
I had a coffee only all day, as lunch for a tiny frittata and a handful off salad was £13!!!!
I had to go to an A store to pick up a computer bit. Been meaning to do this for ages but now I need it for my trip. Anyway, done.
I bought a top and some jeans that fit me really well, reduced from £55 to £16. Top is linen and cotton and will be cool for my trip, top from £59 to £17.
Picked up a few bits so I can make sandwiches in future. The bread I made came out beautifully. I now need to find a way of buying the ingredients for less to bring the cost of a loaf down...Next I want to bake a GF natural cake...
My host is doing supper today
My fee for the searches came through. He can send a cheque or I pay £35 for a transfer. Fine, I'll take a cheque, no rush...or should I leave it on account so I have a few hundred pounds saved against the solicitors fee for next time?
I will be back with a list of what I need to do next.
Hope everyone is ok

I would take the £ right now - particularly if you have a CC balance. I think you will feel better with that gone.
Sorry you missed your deadline for the creative project.

I'd take the cheque. Better in your account than theirs!
Well done on clearing your to do list and great news about the PB win too. Sorry about the job though x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
If you'd had an offer accepted it would make sense to leave it with them, take the money and bank it in readiness for next time.

Find it hard to believe people still use cheques, especially businesses.
