  • I think the house that needs work sounds interesting as long as you get it for a fair price.  My sis just bought a do-er upper but should end up with a great house at the end.

It would be worth finding out what the listed status will mean for your plans

  • Grate the frogs and use them as toppings, if it means you get through them, or it will stop them getting fatter!

Keep up with the counseling, you've still got a lot going on and it's not yet the right time to go it alone.

Sell the searches and report, offer to meet them somewhere to hand them over so you can pass on any other relevant information if they ask.

Sell the searches, definitely.  You won't be able to sell the survey.

    Thank everyone  :)

@mark55man my host is indeed lovely. It is a treat to stay here and spend time with her. Re 'the inside story' on the house sale, I'm happy to give that to them for free  ;)

@Skint_yet_Again and @peb my survey says it is for my sole use so I don't think I can sell it outright. Will have a think and look for a way around if it becomes an option.

@savingholmes a do-er upper can work out well, just need to see if it is the best way forward for me, depends on price I can get it at in part

@MovingForwards and @mark55man  the counselling has ended as there are a set number of sessions and counsellor not allowed to accept private. She has given me many contacts for low cost counsellors so I am going to explore those. They all have long waiting lists and typing this has highlighted I need to do it before I go so my waiting is done elsewhere!

Hi dia, I was advised to phone HMRC at0800 to get through more quickly and it worked for me.

  • House buying in England sounds mad. Think I'd be living in a van if I had to live there! Hopefully the right place comes along
