I take it that it is power chair & not an ordinary wheelchair?
As above any benevolent funds or local trusts that can help?

Thanks everyone. Lots of helpful advice there for me. I appreciate it. I will take notes and get going on what I can do about the wheelchair.
So a few days away but it feels like longer. The BnB was amazing. I will go back. I found a few new restaurants. A great time and met some new people. One was a guy who is also in my position. Homeless (technically) and trying to find a house. We plan to keep in touch.
Spent too much. Time to get back to reality...tomorrow I will start a new budget and do some financial shuffling...
I had a breakthrough as I have applied to be on a medical trial just so I can get some high level screening. I. don't need to take any meds but I will have monitoring for 9 months. I will be able to see the effects of exercise/improved nutrition on all my markers at regular intervals. This has pleased me so much as I am struggling to get an appointment to see the GP!
Today was washing, batch cooking, food shop and car boot. I. set a £10 budget and got lots of great stuff including a 1st class BA toiletry bag filled with goodies for £2. I will use it when going away. A new stainless steel hip flask. (great for after an outdoor swim in cold weather) £1. A 1950s toast rack, posh facewash £1.50, A cotton hairband 50p, and some other stuff I can't remember!
Plan to see my relative on Tuesday and use tomorrow as a catch up/reset day.
I hope everyone is well

Good news about the trial. Glad you had a good break."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3

Thanks @MovingForwards I will update the diary with trial news when it happens.
Thanks @jwil it was a good break. I came back less stressed. It felt like much longer. I've decided the way forward is lots of smaller breaks instead of less frequent bigger ones.
I was asked to stay over at relatives as soon as they all knew I was back. I said no to today, but will get there early tomorrow to take-over from a relative who stayed overnight... Fair enough.
Today I caught up with myself. I balanced my finances. I spent money. It is over. I am moving on. I have about £70 a week to live on all through June. I still saved £50 to bring my solicitor/survey fund up to £300.
I need to get £100 together as I am staying at a friend's cottage again and I pay this to cover bills for a week so they are not out of pocket. I have £80 due to me so I need to eat that frog by chasing this up. I have already paid for my train fares. I will take a YS food store to help with food bills. I am working on my creative project there so I should be able to live very cheaply whilst there.
I caught up with younger relatives today on the phone. That was nice.
It feels like a tough month coming up but I am away lots and should be busy so it shouldn't be necessary to be spendy
I hope everyone is ok.

Glad you had a nice break ,which was needed.A clever idea about the trial . The goalposts seem to be moved constantly ,as far as Dr availability is concerned .It sounds like you are getting more familiar with your new intended area which is a big positive .All sounds good ...3

Thanks @beanielou yes really pleased about the trial
Thanks @another_casualty I feel like I love in the new area already! and yes, I. needed that break!
Thanks @savingholmes I. am trying very hard not to be 'put upon' with my relative. I am not recovered from my last bout of caring.
I had some good news on the pension. It has been upwardly adjusted so it WAS a mistake last time. I don't think they understand the impact of rushed, incorrect correspondence. I was really worried. However they have the date I left wrong and I was paying into the scheme for longer, so it is still incorrect...I will contact them but I. want to arm myself with information first.
I have a financial frog that I must eat tomorrow as that will pay for my next break in a few weeks time.
Bought the Little French Kitchen cookbook, new and hardback for £1. It has some good recipes
Picked up some YS tuna kebabs in MnS 4.50 reduced to 1.38. Bought 5 packs and froze them as I. want to take a freezer bag to the cottage full of YS goodies to last the week
I am spending to save but it is still overspending so I need to go back to the budget and rebalance. Sigh.
I hope everyone is ok
