Thank you @End_Of_The_Rainbow and @Sunshine_girl2
So I cancelled the massage to focus on frog eating- Tracked down my solicitor's details
- Emailed 2 people for their broker details
- Emailed EA
- Update solicitor
- Pension correction update
- Start removals fund with £200 removals fund set up with £250
- BS for a survey quote
Solicitor is pricey too and seems to be saying some things I don't need are inclusive. Trying to see if I can get this quote down too.
Some actions are listed as one action and in fact quite a bit of toning and froing so it has all taken from 9 until now nonstop.
If I don't get this house it will not be due to my actions it will be due to the actions of other people outside of my control.
I will be back tonight with a new set of frogs.

Thank you @Debsnewbudget
Thanks @MovingForwards I can't let anything get in my way as @mark55man says all other non house-related frogs can go by the wayside. Now is the time for absolute focus.
TODAY- Got in touch with a distant family member via email. They don’t live far from the area I hope to live in. I am asking if they can recommend a building surveyor but even if they can’t it will be good to be in touch if I am living nearby.
- The solicitor has been informed of the sale by the EA and details have been exchanged
- I am entitled to an interest free OD of £250. I fought to get out of an OD years ago and have never used it. However, I may need the credit facility so I have asked for it to be arranged
- Thank goodness I cleared my CC I have added this to available credit
TOMORROW
- Call HMRC to reclaim overpaid tax from 2021/22. This can be used to pay my solicitors fees.
- Make an appointment for the CU moved to Thursday as will be in the area
- Complete forms for HMRC and post
I had coffee and cake today and spent £13 in Mr L. I'm supposed to be saving every penny towards housing costs so I really MUST fritter less
I hope everyone has had a good day

Are you playing whack a frog! I'm seeing a woman on a mission and you've nailed this.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3

Thank you @Humdinger1 @savingholmes @MovingForwards
I cancelled a hair appointment for this morning. I can do my own hair pack. I cannot afford the time or the money right now.
I feel very motivated to eat all the house related frogs as I want to do everything I can to get the house. I'm very aware that anything can happen, but if it does I will just have to deal with it.
So today I have already eaten the two big HMRC frogs!!! On their website it says they are less busy before 10 so I called at 8.30. I had a target of £500. In fact they owed me £497. They had me on a code that was incorrect and this has been backdated and amended. Pleased with that
TODAY
The dreaded form has been completed for HMRC on another matter. I will post it by 'signed for' later today
Emailed solicitor to see if being mortgage free for my purchase will reduce my solicitors fees
Research surveyors in the area for some quotes
TOMORROW
I will visit the CU tomorrow as I will be in the area so no point wasting time and fares going today
Off to get some breakfast.
Have a good day everyone.
