Thank you @jwil I was successful
My £1.50 veg box contained:
3 large white onions
3 smaller red onions
8 potatoes
1 tray tomatoes
3 large tomatoes
6 carrots
1 large yellow pepper
1 medium red pepper
2 cauliflowers
4 large leeks
1 packet of extra fine green beans
Veg was in great condition apart from cauliflowers. They looked a bit limp so will use them for soup today.
A walk and lots of great veggies and it isn't even 9am
Edited to add 6 satsumas!

Wow. I've only once seen a veg box at Lidl (I shop there once a week) and it wasn't worth getting.2

They put the veg boxes after the checkouts in the lidls I've been in so I never get them. That sounds like it was made for soup making.

I can't believe it is May. This should be the time of year more homes are listed so fingers crossed.
Thanks everyone for recent comments
Because I have moved around so much and there are more L's supermarkets I often find one not too far from where I am staying. Not everywhere has the veg box and some that do are complete rubbish, full of inedible waste. However some areas, like where I am now make a feature of the boxes. Here, on Sundays there is a queue to get in and the boxes disappear. At this branch restaurants/cafes used to take several boxes for their businesses. That has been stopped. I only go on weekdays when most people are at work/doing the school run etc.
I always ask the security staff if they do the veg boxes and what time they are prepared and go out. It varies between supermarkets. It is usually mornings or afternoons.
Yesterday, I made a cauliflower and sweet potato dhal. Today, I am making a tray of roasted veggies. I will have some with halloumi and kimchi.
There is a sports shop at the top of the road. I need some exercise bands and I still don't have the ever elusive walking shoes in there so will pop in as I saw Soloman brand in the window.
This is a rare week with a clear diary until Saturday

Great veg box.
You seem motivated again and are tackling the list. Hope a beauty appointment is booked as a pamper is needed. See what else they offer and have a bigger pamper.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
