Sorry you feel the interview went badly, don't let it stop you from trying again though if you see something that suits. Your item of clothing can be reused for other interviews if you decide to apply for other jobs, so hopefully not wasted.
Shame about the 'friend' too.
Hope today is a better day for you x

Thanks @Sun_Addict I see on your diary you also had a friend say something hurtful
Thanks @beanielouand @savingholmes
Thanks @MovingForwards you are right. I am going to see if I can get to the same situation as @Skint_yet_Again. I will PM you
Thanks @jwil you are right, the clothes item was not a waste.
Yesterday was spendy and I have not been keeping to a budget at all. Lots of reasons why but I will change this. It feels too unstructured and contributes to a spendy mindset.
I am frittering in CSs. I see others spending quite a bit in CSs on here and it is sort of MSE, if you need it. For me,this spending is a warning of a state of mind. I don't want to buy things I don't really need. On the programmes about hoarding they seem to buy excessively from charity shops, convinced they are 'worth' something. I'm not 'there' I know, but as I say, it is a state of mind to me. I'm not going to say never but will set a £5 a week budget for this type of spending.
A positive I have found in my mental mayhem of late is: I am going to go to the creative club at least 3 days a week. Will take a lunch and drink of course. It is expensive travel so experimenting on travel by bus to get there and train back, should keep it under a fiver a trip that way
Decided not to go to the funeral of a distant relative. I've had enough of travel and it will involve a hotel and transport costs. It will end up costing a few hundred in the end. Family are already going to represent.
Today is a young relative's birthday so I will pop by to the party. I already gave money so no present needed
A walk to the high street soon. A coffee, notebook and I will start some positive planning
Have a good weekend all

Sounds like a good call on the funeral.

Thanks @Seasidegal58
Thanks @savingholmes
So today I had an easy day. I went to Mr L for a small shop, but apart from that stayed home.
I had family and friends phone calls most of the day
Made soup for lunch and then made a curry with some paste.
Finished a book. I love reading so that made me happy
Entering a new week feeling positive. I hope you are too.
