Only got the one mini me I buy for. In your position I would taper it off and stop at 16, do something for 18th and 21st and that's it.

@doingitanyway as ever, you are quite right to decide not to waste time, emotion and money on a house that won't work. Sad but it sounds like a bullet dodged; the right house will be along. Break a leg tomorrow! Know you'll do brilliantly love Humdinger xx4

Dunno what soil stacks are but if they're off-putting then they're off-putting 🤣🤣🤣
My nephew is coming up on 2 and my philosophy is it's fun to buy him presents now because he actually plays with toys and can't buy anything himself.

Thanks @MovingForwards and @humdinger for keeping the faith for a new home for me
So today was the big job interview and I did badly. Probably my worst ever job interview. A rubbish day generally. So, I am reviewing everything yet again. I am wondering if I can manage on a smaller income and just not apply for any jobs. I'd love to just do creative stuff, but not sure I could be comfortable enough financially. DIFFICULT
A friend said something stupid and hurtful...
On the home front? Nothing.
To add insult to injury it cost me £15 in fares and I had to buy an article of clothing for the interview. So, £40 down. Then another £8 for pity-party tea and cake
I contacted the friend with a rural cottage and will go there in a few weeks for a week of creative work. No job means I have no choice but to pursue funding so need to get my head down and focus.
Hey ho, onwards and upwards..

Sometimes the worst to us mean an offer, keeping everything crossed for you.
Do review budgets and perhaps properties, see if there's a different type you can make work and maybe it could help make your budget easier.

I had two interviews for jobs on promotion last year that didn’t go well. My nerves get the better of me and my mind goes blank when they ask questions. You never know you might get the job but if not you’ve learned something from the experience you can take forward to the next time.A friend who says something hurtful and stupid isn’t a true friend in my opinion 🙁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Sorry to read that you feel the interview went badly.
