Today I am grateful for my microwaveable polar bear, for making a huge fruit salad, for dh finding a book I thought I'd lost, for dc's piano playing, for watching a couple of movies all together.

Happy birthday @mothernerd, sounds like you all had a lovely evening together ☺️
Had a nice day today, went for a walk with hubby. Posted my eboy sale, used my free stamps, but decided to send it signed for, as a couple of items hadn't arrived previously & had to refund buyer, so paid a little extra. Will deduct it from payment, so still counting it as NSD#13. Finished making the bag for my friend, then shortened some trousers for a customer.
Washed up after tea & caught up with a couple of the millions of yootoob videos I've saved to watch. Watched more of a series with DS1 & did some knitting, unpicked 2 coat zips, ready for replacing tomorrow, then did the ironing.
Grateful for seeing my first Snowdrops, doing everything off my list for today, spending time with DS1Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Mothernerd - Happy Birthday 🎉
Apple - A microwave polar bear?!?
Productive day here. Did a big batch cook - 8 meals and 4 jacket spuds. Done all my laundry, went to the gym and got my 5K steps in and sneaking my mindfulness in now!
Today I am grateful for:
1) Finding the oomph to go to the gym in the end
2) For a full freezer again
3) For a weekend off and a chance to relax and unwind

Abundant, it's a polar bear that you heat up. So it's like a hot water bottle but without the water. Or the rubber smell. Or the clammy coldness when all the heat is gone!! We also have a bagpuss one 😁

Hi had a lovely day yesterday. Am dreading today as have to do prep for work, mainly for Tuesday. And I need to do some serious planning and I am already dreading getting started. It's the usual, my to do list is so long, that I can't get started.
Wellness, focus, sleep, all goes out the window when it comes down to it. But maybe some breakfast and an actual list would be a good start. Thanks for listening.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

mothernerd - happy belated birthday, glad to hear you had a nice day and funeral arrangements are progressing well
Yesterday was a bit of a disaster! I woke up at 5am, couldn't get back to sleep so did some work for PT jobs. Went to my friend's for coffee and her lovely hubby sorted out my tyre pressure. If only i could've stayed longer, he would've washed my car for me! It will get done next month when i have the service done.
Then DD2 called in tears as she'd banged her head; due to the meds she's taking she had to go to A&E to get checked. Poor DD was there on her own for 7 hours, eventually had CT scan and all was ok. I offered to go down to her (3+ hours away) but she said she'd be ok. At least i did lots of cleaning to distract myself. Once she was back home at 10pm i just went to bed and slept till 8am this morning.
Today i hope for a better day. Am meeting friend for a walk. I also need to do some more of my PT work.
Did spend yesterday as needed petrol but also bought basil so i can make soup and hummus and pitta for lunches. Also bought a book from the CS that i'm putting away as a Xmas gift (it's a winter theme hence saving it
ditty - hope you can get some you time in whatever way gives you a break. A list is always good i find as i feel a bit more in control
