DAy started well.  Meeting DS & his GF for breakfast.
Nice catch up was had.
Unfortunatly as we were leaving I fell. Bit of a todo getting up.
Was a bit shoggled up & by the time I got home felt sick. Bah.

Beanielou - Hope you are feeling better after the shock of falling over. It really can shake you up. 

Yesterday my friend and i went to a market town 30 mins away. She drove so I paid for parking and coffee. Had a nice chat, went round the shops then had S*bway lunch. Nice to go somewhere new with someone who likes the same things.

Got a lovely copper-textured candle holder for £3 from the charity shop. Had seen them in local garden centre for £20 but couldn't justify buying one, so thrilled to find it. It really shines when the candle's lit. 😍

Shampooed my bedroom carpet today but unfortunately the mark is still there. Might do it again tomorrow but worried about making a paler patch. Annoyed that my niece let her toddler and dog into my bedroom on my new cream carpet and laughed that I'd be mad that 'something' had happened. No apology. Still don't know what that 'something' was.

Bought a couple of items for the Christmas shoebox appeal and the food bank as I'm keeping on budget so far this month. 

i'm reading a book and really enjoying it. It's by a new author I don't know and is funny. Just what I need! Might look out for another of hers.

Had our 2nd Christmas pud tonight to use it up. Really nice from the local Co. Got a piece left so might take to work tomorrow.

Found an unopened bag of walnut halves from 2016!!! They looked and smelled fine so put them out for the jackdaws, etc. They were soon gone.

Hope you're ok after your fall @beanielou. I loved This Life too @DrCarrie.

Went for a walk with hubby this morning, then put the two new zips in coats for customers. Decided to tackle a frog & do my one outstanding online training course for work, only to discover I had 3 to do! Set to & was halfway through the last one, when my auntie phoned to ask if my mum was ok. They usually chat on the phone every Sunday, but no answer today. That got me thinking that I'd not had a reply to the messages I'd sent her earlier either! My brother phoned, so told him I'd have to go & check after tea (he lives in England, my mum & me are on a Scottish island). Quickly finished my Training course & dashed into town to find mum happily watching the ice skating programme on TV! Think her phone provider is doing maintenance work over the weekend, so let her use my phone to give her sister a ring to say she was alright. Phew, panic averted! I've just had a lovely bath & applied one of the many facemasks I found in my bedroom last week, & read my book. Back to work tomorrow after taking DS2 to his hospital appointment.

Grateful for seeing snowdrops in my garden, a large murmuration of Starlings settling on the shrubs & garage in our garden - have never seen so many!, & Mum being ok

Thanks for the photos Thrifty - I thought the same as F0xh0les haha. The Birds!!! I can't look at Crows anymore without thinking of the Omen (2) either haha!

Apple - you can't just hit and run like that... fisiocrem??? I'm going to have to do a search on Goggle now! 😉

Had a lazy morning today, then off to the gym and hit my steps. I'm already looking ahead to February in my diary which means the end (of January!) is in site. Pay Day next Thursday. Poor old January gets a bad rep. I've actually really enjoyed this one, and I've been the most productive in terms of sticking to routines (and NSDs!) than ever!!! 

Today I am grateful for
1) YouTube and all the amazing content on their! Just lost 3 hours to watching Astrology stuff! 
2) My old Astrology Teacher - she was awesome!!! 
3) Still really grateful for weekend off!!!
