I have a terrible headache. But am pleased to report that I have not spent any money since Tuesday.
I am pretty sure I spent on Saturday and Sunday, I didn't spend Monday. Had to buy petrol on Tuesday. so that is 7 NSDs. I think. I haven't bought anything on the big river shop since the 31st Dec. I am most proud of that, I am always click clicking away.

Good morning!
Have been crunching the numbers this morning (for next month) and if I pool all my spare cash and continue with my current allowance (which is tight I admit) I can shave over 3 years off my DFD - from August 2026 to May 2023. I'll still have a spare £60 or so as a buffer... The question is can I survive on just £80 per month for food/spends (fuel is separate as is haircut). It's pretty hardcore but I like a challenge - and it is just me.
Been watching a few videos on YouTube about NoSpendMonths/Years - where basically you only spend money on essentials. I am going to try it this month as so far only bought food. Also been thinking of selling stuff I have but don't use on eBay but have never ventured into those murky depths!!! I have a tonne of books and packs of tarot cards (100 + I reckon) and I only ever really use a few of them. Anything I can to cut more money off my debt has got to be a good thing!
Feeling grumpy and angry today for no real reason. Tried mindfulness and not my best 10 minutes of calm ever that's for sure! Going to go to the gym and see if I can release the rage there haha.
Today I am grateful for:
1) Food in my fridge/freezer and pantry. I won't go hungry and I am grateful for that
2) The internet and having access to a PC so I can chat here, and watch things like YouTube
3) My warm, dry little apartment - especially on days like this when its cold and wet
Today = NSD number 6
Onwards and upwards as they say!

Aparat from a scheduled b'day meal tonight I spent £4 on eggs so I could make pancakes. Ds2 is off to uni tomorrow, so a few last treats. So I did parkrun and pancakes, but then I went back to bed to rest, there has just been a lot on this week. I really need to get up and do some chores and some writig tasks.
Grateful for lovely boys, grateful for a nest best ever pb in 5k, and I am only getting back into running after a long stall. Grateful for weekend and bike to work every day next week.

apple_muncher said:32b3, if all you bought was the coke (which was medicinal) and the vitamins, then I'd say those all count as medical spends and you can claim an NSD 😀.Mothernerd, well done you. Hope you get a rest today. We ordered 10 copies of my dad's death certificate as some companies wanted an original in the post!!!.Today I bought my nephew a PE bag so not a NSD!
for anyone thinking of selling, I recommend Vinted. No seller fees to pay and really easy to list items.
