I've got over my rage now.  I haven't eaten well the last couple of days, but I've still avoided the chocolate!  So I am achieving something, even if it's not showing on the scales.  If I can stick it out for a month or more, then hopefully I will break the habit.  I'm forgetting that I'm all about making small but permanent changes.  It's not going to show immediately on the scales, but hopefully there will be a good result on my next blood test.

    Anyway, back to MSE stuff.

The credit reference agency has not accepted my dispute.  I'll have to look at what to do now.  Luckily there's been no activity on any of my financial accounts, so that's a good thing.

DH has sold a bulky item so that's another good thing.

  • Just catching up ..
sorry also to hear about your identity fraud issues . Hopefully all will be sorted .
well done on the sarcastic responses to that creditor .

As for the scales ..🤦‍♂️  Every 6 weeks is approx the right timescale to weigh yourself .
No wonder you're feeling crabby at times . I suppose it could be worse , and that  you're not being impatient at a microwave . Please excuse the sarcasm 😼

Everything else sounds great , and I'm envious of your tackling of the chocolate.

    I'll leave it there ...😼

Well done for the small changes... I still can't resist choc so not sure that's such a small thing. You should be proud.

This has been my downfall for so many years - to the extent I'd feel panicky if there wasn't any chocolate in the house.  I really don't know how I've managed it so easily this time.  But I'm celebrating while I can!

    Celebrate while you can

For me I think I need to go to having none in the house.
The other day I had a LOT of chocolate sauce on my strawberries.

  • Just quickly popping in.  It's taken me ages to catch up on your diary.   You've done so well on your PADs and reducing debt.  So easy to get  into but so hard to get out of.  I like your working four long days so you can have a day off especially if you can make it your day doing the things that give you pleasure.

I've had to commute back to my father-in-law's who was taken poorly, went into hospital and caught Covid.  Sadly he never recovered.  I've had to deal with his funeral, Probate and getting his house ready to sell.  In-between this my own health hasn't been the best and although chemo stopped 18 months ago I'm still having blood transfusions.

I feel your pain regarding weight.  My orthopaedic consultant lectures me on losing weight before I can have my right knee replaced.  He knows I have Lipedema and Lymphedema and no matter how much weight I lose my legs are not going to get thinner.  Ironically I lost weight when I had cancer and was told to eat pastries, have butter, full fat milk and yoghurt.

    Have a great weekend
