Good luck with the yelling! I think my two are slightly older than yours (almost 10 & 7) and they are now being asked (told!) to help around the house. I find it easier & quicker to do it myself however I do not want them growing into adults who haven’t a clue about housework & we all live here too! My youngest loves to help but the oldest is quite lazy!
Good luck with the discount with your creditor! And finally we’ll done on no chocolate bars for 7 days that’s is something to celebrate 😁 xx4 -

I think I've put about 3 stone on in the last few months ( to add to the 2 I was already carrying) and I desperately need to take back some control. XXX
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

Thank you, I'm amazed on the chocolate, I've never managed that before! (Apart from when I was pregnant with little jwil - I couldn't keep it down).Chrystal said:BalanceBy50 said:Good luck with the yelling! I know it's so darned hard, and I'm worrying that this is a glitch and I'm going to fall back into my old habits. I must get some positive thinking on! Good luck with it though.

Well I've had quite a good day today despite playing hokey cokey with the washing and the rain!
My yelling has partially worked for 5 minutes and the kids have a clear bedroom floor again. I've tackled some of the piles downstairs so it's looking much tidier. I managed to hoover as well. I've filled the recycling with crafts done by little miss - she is VERY prolific as well as messy! I keep a few of my favourite bits, and she loses interest as soon as she's made it.
I've done a bit of gardening this afternoon, planted out some lavender and done some weeding. A few weeks ago I threw some wildflower seeds down on a patch of garden that used to be a rockery but is all bare and lots of the soil has washed away. It has been covered with poppies for a while which have spread from elsewhere, but looking at it today, there's loads of other flowers in there now. It's great! Once it's all died down, I've got an old tyre so I can turn that patch into a planter without all the soil washing away.
These little bursts of activity are really making a difference to the look of the house and garden!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -

Little jwil is coughing his head off again. He seems to be getting a string of colds at the moment! I think I'm getting it too, happy days
I was looking online to try and see what cough medicine might be suitable for kids, and spotted I could have some delivered same day by the rainforest people. So I've ordered that, saves me having to travel to find a pharmacy. We've tried anti histamines, honey, and drinking lots, but he was up most of the night, so just looking for something to try and soothe it again.
He was worried it was covid again, so we tested and it's not thankfully.
So we won't be doing much today! I'll take little miss with me to see my folks for a bit, but he will stay at home with DH. I might go to the farm shop and get some of their doughnuts for a treat. Eton mess doughnut sounds fab!
Day 8 today without chocolate, still not really missing it which seems weird."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
