Happy weekend. Hope everyone is well. I'm full of cold, joy! Trying to have a quiet weekend doing stuff at home.
My shopping has come this morning, and DH took me into town to pick up a gift that I had ordered. It meant we didn't have to pay for parking, and saved me a lot of hassle so all good.
I've tidied around and hoovered up and downstairs. All the windows and doors have been open for a while. It's so mild, can't believe it's the middle of November. We've been out doing some tidying in the garden this morning so that's looking better now. Now I've swept the patio of all the leaves and weeded it, I want to try and clean it but might wait until tomorrow for that.
DH has been out checking our gutters this morning as a damp patch has appeared in the kids bedroom. He thinks the flashing needs repairing. Another thing to try and get sorted. Hopefully the roofer who did a tile for us a few years ago will be able to help with this so we don't have to try and find someone else.

I've been feeling rough today, so haven't done anything other than snuggle up with a book! I'm so tired. I don't think I'll be heading into the office this week unless this cold miraculously disappears. Work has been preying on my mind too so that hasn't helped my sleep.
I've had a load of xmas stuff delivered, but will have to check it when the kids are away.
DH has done a bit more gardening and tidied the shed in case the electrician needs to go in there. I still haven't heard from them, so I'll have to message and confirm they are coming. I need to withdraw from PBs and don't want to do that unless I know they will definitely be here. DH also splashed out on a takeaway tonight so that was nice for a change and it will give me a lunch this week as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks everyone, feeling a bit better today but still full of cold. I'm not going into the office this week so I don't spread it!
