There seems to be no consideration that most mothers work these days and find it difficult to get time off. Hope the electrician finishes soon - good that the kids rooms are done - does that mean you can finish decorating in there (inbetween obviously sweeping the yard and whistling dixie)?

Hey everyone,
I haven't posted for ages. Things have been so hectic, I've been unwell with tonsilitis and generally just feeling run down. We're having a quiet weekend though, and just one more week until 2 weeks off. I can't wait!
The electrician has finished this week hurrah, and I've paid the bill. Hopefully we can get some more done next year. We're hoping to decorate the two rooms now, though we can't carpet one room until we have the downstairs below it done, so that will probably be the next job.
I've continued PADding , and so need to catch up on all the financials too. It will be good to know where I am a bit more with everything. The back pay from the payrise means I haven't totally decimated my savings which is good.
Another default has fallen off my credit report, just one left to go in January now!
We've just found a second hand bed frame for little jwil online, and I've ordered a new mattress for him as well which should come today. That means he can finally get his new bed which he's been waiting for for ages. Little miss has a fixed bed frame in her new room so we don't need to buy her one, and we already have the mattress so that's good. It will probably be after Christmas before they get into their new rooms, but I think they'll like being together still over Christmas.
I'm pretty much done with Christmas shopping, and have started on the wrapping so I'm pretty organised. Everything that needs posting has been posted.
It's cold and we have a light dusting of snow this morning. Not too much, and the kids went out early to have a little play.
Hope everyone is well"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4 -

Yes, although the kids generally get on well, you can see that little jwil in particular is starting to want his own space. Good luck with the PADs. It's amazing how it adds up.
