  • Good news about the last default. My last one came off in October. Feels like you have finally served your dues when it goes.
And fantastic that you have got the electric work done. You have been saving up for it so it's well deserved 🙂

Well for the first time in about a week, I managed to sleep last night without being raised up and without waking every couple of hours with a coughing fit.  I feel like a new woman!

It's been so nice having the quiet weekend, and I'm really looking forward to a good rest over Christmas.  I want to get stuck in to stuff around the house.

We picked up little jwil's bed yesterday and the mattress was delivered.  It's a nice solid pine bed and much bigger than his previous bed.  He will love it.   We put the bed frame up yesterday, but he used his old mattress as the new one is airing.  I'll pop it on the bed today.

We are taking the kids to see Santa later, but other than that, a nice quiet day planned again.

I'll have to go back and see what my plans for this year were and what progress I've made.  We've seen a good amount of stuff leave the house this year, and the electric work being done means we have finally made progress on improving the house.  It's also got DH interested in doing some more which is good.  Hopefully we can make a lot more progress next year.

All ebay listings have been ended for now, so that will be a nice break too.  Hopefully DH will take the time to review his listings and do something with those which have been on for ages.

Thank you :)  It is nice to see the back of them.  It seems such a long time when they are first applied, but it really goes so quickly,

It's a Payment A Day - making a small payment to your debt every day.  I do £2 a day to the mortgage, but if I'm skint, have even sent 1p in the past.  It's surprising how it adds up and how I don't miss the cash.  It's a good way of feeling like you are making progress, even when all the big wins have been done.  I also PAD survey money and any other extras if I can.
