Great on the MOT.
Good move to check on the electrician via a mutual contactIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I don't think we are up to anything exciting this weekend. I fancy a quiet one as we've been busy the last few."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

Hope everyone is well. I'm struggling at the moment, the mental load is high and energy low. I'm not sleeping well which is impacting things, and my legs constantly hurt which is just annoying. However, the good news is my knee pain is definitely improving and two people separately said I was limping less this week so that's good. Just my thighs to sort now! I wonder if my posture is out or something and I'm compensating and that is causing the pain. I would have thought they should be getting a bit stronger by now!
I've booked in the electrician and they are coming (hopefully!) the week after next. Very exciting. Nothing happened about the plumber and I haven't got the energy at the moment. I'll deal with that another time, or encourage DH to sort it when he's off for half term.
Yesterday I spent the day moving things around downstairs so that it's easier to access the plug sockets when the electrician comes. I now will just need to move one piece of furniture rather than two large cube storage units. It looks much better but I still need to go through all the toys to try and get rid of some.
Work is busy and I'm trying to juggle several projects which is probably adding to the mental load. I read an interesting article that 5 separate projects is the max to ensure productivity. I'm definitely dealing with more than that plus all the usual interruptions. I'm happy only to be going in the office one day per week though.
DH is prepping his classic car to be sold. It's been parked up for 5 years now, so I shall be very pleased to see it go. Fingers crossed he actually gets it listed and it sells. Please send selling vibes!
I've been trying to catch up on admin, and setting up the new bank accounts. Slowly getting there."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
I can sympathise with motivating your DH. Mine has a classic car in the garage which needs major work which he cant do . Not because he doesnt have the skills but he is simply not fit enough but will he get rid of it. No and all the time it is worth less and less.2
