This morning I've emptied the kids and my savings accounts related to the account I switched yesterday. I'll transfer the money into other accounts until I know whether I'll lose access to the app/website once I've switched my current account. The interest rates are rubbish so it's probably better I move it anyway.
My ebay money gets paid into that account, I'm not sure whether it's a DD or something else, so I need to check that out and see if it will switch or whether I need to change the payment details.
I'm hoping the electrician will turn up on time today, even if I'm not sure I'll use them. I'd just like to have a comparable quote. This is one that was actually recommended as well, as someone I know used them recently for a similar job."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Best of luck with the electrician

Hope everyone is well. We were in Cornwall for the weekend. Lots of sun and beaches, so that was nice!
I finished earlier today as I had to take my car to the garage for service and MOT tomorrow. Hopefully it will go through ok. It was quite nice to finish early as I've had a chance to catch up on a few things.
The electrician did turn up on Friday and sent his estimate through in the afternoon. He wasn't here very long, and missed a number of things off his estimate, which when I added them up based on other prices would add £300 odd to the bill. On the basis of the sloppiness, I am still minded to go with the other one. I need to get DH to have a look at it all, though he will leave the decision to me I'm sure!
I haven't been sleeping well, so I'm shattered. Tiredness, the weekend away, business and general lack of interest, mean I've put on 1lb again of my loss. I need to get back on track so that I can keep going in the right direction and don't just put it all back on!
I've received lots of paperwork from my new bank accounts, so I need to look through all that. I've also got some more paperwork to do for little miss's assessments too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
