Finished early today so I could see the kids new classrooms and meet their teachers. Asked for an update on little miss and her ASD diagnosis and it doesn't look like anything's happened. Her teacher said she'd send me some paperwork to complete. Hopefully we can at least get that done before the end of term.
I ordered one of those mini cycle things yesterday and that's come today. I thought it might encourage me to do some exercise even if I don't leave the house. Some has to be better than none!
I had a call from my water company asking me to take part in a focus group. It's on zoom and they'll pay me £50 for 90 minutes. Err... Yes! I don't even need to leave the house!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -

I seem to be being a bit spendy again! I've ordered some more cool pads to help us get through this weekend! It's nice to have a spare so when one warms up, we can swap it for another.
I've also done an iceland delivery to top up the freezer. It seemed to include a lot of ice creamThey also had refresher lollies based on the sweets so I bought some of them to try (I blame you @another_casualty
)
I've had a reply from the credit report company, and they have upheld my dispute against the searches on my account for the fake gambling accounts, so that's good, they will be removed.
I've booked the kids in for their second covid jabs, and I had an invite to book for a flu jab so I have done that as well (though it's not until September).
I've donated the old school uniform to the school this morning, and took a bag for the charity bank too. The kids took in their donations for the school fayre as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
