@jwil I noticed there is a pre diabetes plan in the Mail online today.
Thank you @doingitanyway , I'll go and have a look!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Thanks for letting me know about the article DIA - it was interesting. Hopefully the changes I have made will help. I still need to up the exercise though.
I've defrosted the small freezer this morning, we're slowly working our way through the contents. I might try and do the fridge freezer at some point this week too. Then I can work on restocking them both!
It's blooming hot here. I've got in a strop with DH (again) as his stuff is preventing me from moving my chair out of the sun. I'm going to bag up all the dog toys and pack them away until I can persuade DH to get rid of them. Our current dog doesn't play with toys, she prefers cuddles or chews, and in all honesty, our previous dog didn't like most of them!
The new paddling pool has arrived, hopefully DH will pump it and fill it for the kids. I've swept the patio in advance."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -

I might ask to WFH for the rest of the summer. Only 2 more weeks til the kids are out of school (and I'll need to anyway), and this week is meant to be hot all week. The office is stuffy in the heat and they don't like putting the aircon on or opening too many windows. At least at home I can go and sit in a cooler room, or wear clothing that is more comfortable but I wouldn't wear to the office 😁"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". At my work they do have air con so sometimes that's enough to drag me in on a hot day - especially as my car has beautiful air con too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
