This week has been really hectic.  I wasn't feeling well Wednesday and Thursday but seem to have improved now thankfully.

I had yesterday off work to go to the kids sports day so that was nice.  It was cloudy in the morning, and I totally forgot to put suncream on, so I've got a little pink in the afternoon!

Today DH had the day off too, so I've had a day off from the school run too, hurrah!  I've been pottering around and tidying, but I'm not a fan of the heat so not too much.

I had my course today so I weighed myself.  I've lost some weight, but I'm not under where I was when I started the course, so no benefit yet.  I have lost an inch from my waist which is probably more important.  I've been trying to do some strengthening exercises most days, still need to up the walking, but my knee is still painful.

I'm still going with TRE and still off the chocolate, so doing well.  Trying not to snack so much, and doing ok with that.  I think I'm eating less overall, so hopefully eventually I might lose some weight.

My brain is totally overwhelmed with everything going on at school.  There's too much to remember.  Roll on the holidays!  They are looking for some toy donations for the school fayre, so I'm hoping to persuade the kids to choose a couple of items.

An inch off is great. I need to get back into TRE after having fallen off the wagon this week due to covid. I do think it is easier to stick to plan when doing TRE though.

It really is much easier.  I think it's fair enough to fall off the wagon when you are ill though.

Congratulations on your progress. You are doing great with your health

    Thank you :)

I saw from the weekly email that Sainsbury's had 20% off school uniform, so I've just ordered most of what I need for next year.  It's nice to have that ticked off!

I'm half hoping they'll say the kids can wear PE kit because of the heat, and then I'll be able to sort through and donate good condition uniform to the school before the holidays.  I might just keep the minimum and get rid of most of it anyway.  I need to make sure I have another look through their (and my) clothing as I won't be able to access the school clothing bank during the holidays, and I like to use that one in the first instance as it fundraises for the school.

I actually ordered the uniform from argos so I could get cashback too, and another couple of items for the house - replacement paddling pool for the kids, as ours has punctured (also 25% off) and some bedside lamps for DH and I as ours are falling apart, and mine shattered a while ago when it fell off the cabinet.

I'm planning on a quiet weekend this weekend, not planning on going anywhere.  DH is on swimming duty, so I'm just pottering again.  My fave types of weekend :)
