I haven't achieved an awful lot today. I sat down in the sun for a bit after I had my breakfast and fell asleep! Oops!
Thank goodness it wasn't blazing hot otherwise I would have burned.
I did go through and empty one bag of stuff so that's a small achievement. I checked that the textile bank at school has been emptied and it has, so I might try and sort out a few more bits ready for next week (the school gets funds from it, so I try and use it in preference).
I'm trying to eat our way through the cupboards and freezer so I can empty them and restock before winter. I took out a gammon joint and a beef joint today. We've had gammon, new pots and salad today, and the beef will do at least 2 meals - probably a roast on Sunday and pulled BBQ beef tomorrow."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Happy Saturday!
I got a £5 amazon voucher yesterday for surveys and so have padded it in cash, as well as a normal pad.
Today I'm on swimming duty, visiting my folks, and then not sure for this afternoon. Will try and achieve something!
Tomorrow the kids are doing parkrun and meeting a friend, then should be a quieter day.
I'm only working 3 days next week as I have Thursday off for Sports Day, hurrah! It's actually the first time I have ever been, so that will be nice (for the kids as well as me!)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I'm normally up around 5am, but mornings are so hectic, it's not too much of a struggle to wait til after school drop off. I did have to start earlier this morning though as with swimming I have to leave just after 8 and there's no way I can wait til lunchtime! I don't drink though, so not snacking in the evenings is no real hardship, and having a daytime eating window suits me.
