Hi, not much to report here. I didn't buy anything from the craft shop when I visited North Berwick last week - round of applause please 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼. I felt very righteous afterwards.
At home I have a plasterer in today and decorators from tomorrow till Friday so house is in a mess and it's hard to settle to do anything. In the past I've always done the decorating myself but age is taking its toll 😡. Can't believe the cost employing workmen to do things I used to do myself.
I am still knitting the Aran baby jacket and hoping to finish it soon.Happy craftingDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order

Today I have managed to take a filled box to a scrap store. I’m counting this as two as it emptied two drawers in my craft room. And added one piece to the never ending quilt.241 / 250.£120.91 / £250.My next jobs or to sand a repaint some drawers. It has been all week to be fair. But I need to get a wriggle on with this.I hope you’re all doing ok and not melting in this heat.

There was tonic. And ice for medicinal purposes. I am off for a week as annual leave so this was obviously my party night. 🤣🤣
I was at the beach all day yesterday. 😁😁
and the night before I painted my drawers. They’re still in the kitchen as I lacked the energy to carry them upstairs yesterday. But there’re done. With a pot of chalk paint that cost 50p. 😁😁 I’m so posh. 🤣🤣242 / 250.I hope you’ve all been well.

I literally said to husband the other day that I need something like this for walking our two dogs after I tried to walk them by myself the other day - I have a jack russell x chihuhua mix and a a lurcher x whippet and trying to hold two leads, a bottle of water (its like a weird safety thing) poo bags, some treats, a ball to play with and my mobile is a nightmare so I wanted to find something like this.plumduff55 said:Hi, just had to post a picture of the dog walkers bag I made yesterday. I'm so pleased with it 😃. The fabric was all from my stash which my sister in law will love as she loves 🐝. I'm going to make a denim one for myself without the bit for poo bags. I'm going to North Berwick today and will be visiting a craft shop there. No point saying I won't buy anything as I might possibly be tempted 🤪
Happy crafting
Dont by chance have a pattern or instructions do you or did you just wing it?Time to find me again2 -
Well done @plumduff55 on not spending
Well done @Florenceem on your free yarn score. I am always looking on freecycyle and facebook marketplace for things like that!
Not much to report here - focusing on the garden and spending time in the sunshine and trying to get rid of my summer cold that my daughter has given me which may also have a slight touch of hayfever with it. Feeling rough and lethargic and sneezing a treat. Dont you just love kids.
Going to use it to my advantage though and have got my cross stitch out. Found an old set I had which does The Snowman cards ( 6 different designs) and I have two done already so I am going to focus on getting the rest finished and then I can give a few of them as gifts.
I did also declutter my narnia cupboard upstairs the other day and I know I put quite a few craft things into my doom bags to go through so I will have to tackle them again at some point since I cant remember whats in there. I know I cleared out quite a few christmas bits though so I may craft some of those bits into new things too.
Time to find me again2
