Hi, I hate when I lose my crafting mojo - I feel as if the days pass and I achieve nothing so I have spent this week getting myself back into gear 🤪
Can't face restarting the waistcoat just now as it's going to mean a lot of ripping back so I'm leaving it for a month - or maybe even a year or two 🤣. I have knitted loads for the baby but feel like doing some small projects so I'm going to start my Christmas knitting for the grandchildren. I've taken wool from my stash to knit new baby a dk cardigan and an Aran collared jacket and hat. I will also knit a matching Aran set for his 2 year old sister. That should keep me busy for a bit.For my sewing I'm going to make a quilted throw. I bought the fabric about 3 years ago and cut all the squares last year then promptly forgot about it. It was going to be a double bed quilt but I think it would be nicer in my sitting room - it's also smaller and a lot less work ( there's method in my madness). Today I altered 3 silky scarves, by sewing the short ends together - they are now affinity ??? scarves which I prefer wearing with tunics and sweaters.
Thats me off to bed now - happy craftingDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Here is Wee Titch on her first day of school. Teddy is going with her as she's a bit scared. Lunch box full of yummy eats. Mixed media piece made with items I have around our cottage. (I apologise again for the huge photo!)

I love the idea of the plantable hearts, crafting mad. How do they work? Is it a packet of seed? Or do you literally plant the heart?

Loving everyone's makes.
I'm declaring more items made (all for orders for my shop and a birthday card for my daughter) so I'm now up to 809/2022.
Slow progress but at least it's progress.
I have spent £6.49 on biodegradble display bags though as I'm really ttring to make my little shop kinder to the planet so I'm hoping I'm forgiven.
Happy crafting everyone x

I’m loving that you’re all still busy. It’s nice to see people back and hope that motivation / inspiration strikes.I’ve not done much. Mostly got sun burned.I’ve unpacked a massive box.Finished painting two frames and rebuilt them. I’ve hopefully finished a third but it needs to dry and be rebuilt before I’ll count it.One has been filled. The other I think I know what I’m putting in. But the wet frame sits between me and the picture.I’ve also finished stitching a sashiko panel to put in the third frame. It just needs ironing.235 / 250.£120.91 / £250.

I've made another card, now at 21/100, and finally finished with decor for the retirement party (which was thursday). I now have loads of free time and brain space to plan what next! I would like to refurb the chest of drawers hiding in the garage (a leg fell off when we were moving). I've also got sewing plans too- I'd like to trace the Blouse pattern tonight, and get it cut out this weekend.
My mum mentioned her sewing group have been asked to make chemo bags so will give those a whirl. I've got lots of fabric!! Not quite worked out a pattern yet- I'm going to have a look through my pattern box and see if I have something I can use (they're supposed to be a double lined messenger style bag that doesn't look at all like they're from hospital).Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Hi everyone, I've been really busy sewing and knitting 😃. It's amazing how good I feel after having a productive week.I finished knitting the dk baby cardigan and even better I found matching buttons in my button box. I hate buying buttons as they're so expensive and local shops have a very poor selection. So travelling over 30 miles to buy buttons makes me mad. Thinking of buying clear buttons online as I wouldn't have to match the colours 🤔.
I've sewn 36 blocks for the throw. The fabric is pinky peach floral and paisley patterns with polka dot sashing and borders. So far, so good and it's looking great. I'll finish the top this week then will leave the quilting till next month. I'm going on a 5 day quilting retreat and will practice free motion quilting there as I'm not very good at it.
Today I am going to sew a dog walkers crossbody bag to give to my sister in law for her birthday next week. It's a Debbie Shore pattern available on YouTube. I'm also going to make strawberry jam in the afternoon - my favourite 😋Happy crafting
