Hi everyone
I hope that those of you that have the time are happily crafting, sewing, card making, knitting, and tidying up craft rooms. I love the basket of homemade baby gifts, that is a truly beautiful gift for a newborn, bless.
I am a bit behind with posting on the thread as per usual what with everything happening here and also now the hens and my last remaining elderly duck are allowed out of their runs now. They have all been in Avain Lockdown for months so I am so pleased they are allowed out finally.
I've just finished jazzing up another pair of dungarees but may hog this thread a bit as I have now got the photos taken of them and the pair I jazzed up earlier in the year. So I am making real progress now thanks to this thread encouraging me.
This is the pair I have just finally finished..... (sorry it's not very clear in this 1st pic). I'll post the pics of the back in the next post.

This is the back of them.... The "WOT NO EGGS" is in relation to my ex-battery hens not laying anymore, bless them.

Wow loving all these makes - the baby is very lucky to have such beautiful things handmade for it and I'm loving those dungarees - my 18 year old daughter would absolutely love them so I'm not showing her in case I have to try and make a pair for her - I would fail miserably as sewing really is not my thing!!
You are all so talented.
I've been busy making and am now up to 744/2022 so my total is moving in the right direction albeit not fast enough but at least its moving.
I also have spent £15 less than last time as the punch I really wanted for ages and bought off ebay was faulty and so I had to return it for a refund.
I'm hoping to get a few more bits made today. Just finished these bookmarks using some tassels I have had in my stash for ages!!! Sorry picture is pants as I laminated them as I'm quite heavy on bookmarks and wanted them to last a bit longer. I even used my Big Bite to set eyelets which I have never done in all the years I've owned it!!!!

Hi, well I've given up with the waistcoat I'm knitting. Totally scunnered with it 😡. Have to decide whether to rip it all out and start a new pattern or rip out the one front and knit it exactly to the pattern. I showed my friend who said the original pattern was nice but very different to my usual knits and that I should get out of my comfort box and just knit it. My best friend knows me too well 🥴
So in the meantime I've started knitting a pink chunky cardigan for 3yo granddaughter - I thought it would be nice to give her a wee cardi when her baby brother ( still waiting for him to arrive) is getting gifts. The pink wool is from my stash - it's Sirdar soft spun chunky and I've had it for several years. I wasn't sure about it as it has a silver sheen to it but it's knitting up really nicely.
Sewing wise I'm going to be decorating the sitting room and kitchen over the next couple of months so will have some things to alter/ adjust for that.
Happy crafting

edwink, I love those dungarees –they clearly have so many personal references incorporated.
Lovely bookmarks, craftingmad. Ihave a Crop-a-dile that I rarely use, but, oddly enough, I used it when I was making the Easter gift cards.
plumduff55, your state of scunneredness with the waistcoat is just how I felt with that baby quilt – which is still shoved in the darkest corner of a cupboard, btw; I don’t want to see it for a very long time!
My Mojo is peeking round a corner at me now – I got 13 Christmas cards made and the other sleeve of the wee cardi done. Now I just have the bands to do and buttons to sew on. I had planned to finish it by Saturday past ☹ I had scheduled tomorrow as a finishing day for another 5 Christmas cards, 10 veggie bags (using old net curtains for them) and a repair to my dressing gown – none of that is going to happen as I have stuff on during the day tomorrow and my granddaughter comes for tea here every Tuesday and I will take her home later. I wonder if Mojo will come out to play.
Happy crafting.
BTW craft room is still not completely/nearly tidy yet. Maybe that's why Mojo won't play.

I know I'm *very* late to the party, especially as the last time I joined in was in 2016!
I have been crafting, just not counting and I'm trying to get back on track with all things MSE, so can I please have target of 200 items between now and the end of the year? It will be a combination of homemade gifts, cards and makes for charity and maybe the odd piece for sale. Thanks!

222 / 250 projects
I’ve sewn a Sashiko panel I bought years ago. I now need a matching frame to hang this is - from ikea. I’m not going this week. I will try to go next week. I even know where it’ll hang. 😁😁I’ve nearly finished preparing a print tray for refinishing. I will then hang on the wall asap. It’s so still on my kitchen table. No further. I need to get a move in with this one. 🤣🤣
I have also made a felted wool picture. It was a fun project. I’m going to the scrap store to get more supplies for this. 😁😁😁😁
I need to make a sensible list of project orders. So I can be motivated to get some things done. I have a whole four day weekend to do things and want to try to make the most of it.£108.92 / £250 spent so far.I’m really impressed with all the makes. It’s so motivating to see what people have made. (Also makes me feel bad I count super small tasks at times).

Ha Edwink- yet more amazing dungarees that are really too good to wear!!
I have been away on a cruise- the first since lockdown so it was a bit of a culture shock! Some wonderful (fattening!) food and dancing nearly every night (ballroom / Latin / sequence) I took yarn away to knit mittens for my shoeboxes and managed to get 2 pairs made (but not sewn) and a third pair to base of thumb. I would have had at least one thumb knitted whilst waiting to disembark but the yarn had a knotty thingy and I couldn't fix it as scissors were packed away in the case making its way to the luggage assembly . I managed to get Guest Services to photocopy my pattern (Sirdar 9d!!!!) so it is now on one sheet instead of spread over pages of a booklet.
Just dragged my was-dry clothes in- now a tad soggy. Rain not forecast for NOW. Sun is now shining again whilst washing is in a heap. Curses. Will put it out again? probably
Wonderful not to sew for 2 weeks ....but today, lady from PO phoned to say all duvets sold. I need to pack my case away in loft so will search for duvets squirrelled away as I think there might be a couple. A job for manana.
have enjoyed reading through the thread since I last posted .
Happy crafting one and all.
