I love the unicorn. 😁😁I’ve unpacked two more boxes of stuff. I still haven’t found the cut out dress pieces to take to the retreat for the weekend so I have no idea what I’m going to make. I may need to cut another. But then if it’s the wrong size I’ll have wasted two fabrics. I am also not 100% convinced the pattern will work for me.My sister has said she wants so magazines. I have two massive boxes of them (mostly molly makes) so will dig out and pass them on. While I’m feeling a little guilty as she has no idea what she’s let herself in for 🤣🤣 I’m also thrilled. They are in the garage and I had been thinking I’d have to take them a local scrap store hut they weren’t clear if they actually wanted them.I have also finished a pack of picture hooks. Chucked the plastic box into the recycling instead of hanging on to it.Also I’ve started to pack a box for the scrap store again. I’ve bought a massive box in from the garage - and started to unpack it.204 / 250 projects£108.92 / £250 spent so far. +£16 for a project kit for some wall decorations. I can see a little scene. I have been interested in the concept for some time so this will allow me to start on a small scale to see how it’s done.

Hope you find your dress nimbo! I really wanted to make some Christmas tags (as you do) from a kit this weekend, but can't find it. It will be in a moving box probably 🤦♀️ do frustrating!!
I made 2 Christmas cards instead, and finished sewing up a pair of baby PJs- first Christmas present done! I am now at 5/100.
I did fall off the wagon buying a new pattern and material for it 🤦♀️ it's sort of money saving though, as lots of my tops have sprung holes, so I'm going to make some instead of buy some (and the fabric was much cheaper than buying). I will have 3 or 4 different tops, I've material already for the others.
I sold 3 cards at the car boot- pretty good considering I didn't sell a lot of anything! It was small, but a cheap one. I made a little bit extra after paying for the stall, and managed to read almost an entire book in peace 😂Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Hi all
only me and checking in.It’s been a horrible first week to the month.Husband left his job and started his new job.May 1st his old job messed up his pay and we he only got paid £600 instead of £1700 and he was £300 overdrawn so we were in some major trouble.Thankfully my father has lent us some money for the month to cover bills. Two days later our elderly dog had to be put to sleep so that was £230 on the credit card that we didn’t really need. Then yesterday husband came home at lunchtime and told me he’d been made redundant as new job had to make job cuts.Just what you need with everything else and your sons 18th birthday coming up.Thankfully he kept in with all his old workmates and I hadn’t taken my crafting scissors to his old work shirts yet so he’s starting back there on Wednesday. He won’t be management like he was just general staff but thankfully there’s not much difference in pay and the option of overtime is there.Thank the heavens for crafting. Ive been crafting every evening to keep my
mind busy, I tend to offer suggestions to husband and when he’s stressed he doesn’t handle it well so focusing on that has helped. So I now have 2 of the 6 Christmas cross stitches done. I will post pictures tomorrow.Daughter has been home the last few days too as she’s been upset so she’s pinched two of my crafts - a paint your own piggy bank in the shape of a postbox which is all the change I find and use for penpal letters and a small Christmas cross stitch I have of a polar bear which she has been learning to do and seems to like. I do need to see if I can find a small sewing hoop for her though to make it easier.Loving all the crafts that you've all done too.My current project whizzing in my head is for my sons 18th. He’s always loved the film cars - even as an 18 year old! So I’m going to see if I can print out a picture and his name to colour in and make into a cake topper!Time to find me again5 -
I put together some more mugs containing chocolates- everything from my stash.

I’ve made another medallion for the quilt and started another. This involves sewing five diamonds to one star and I’ve added three so nearly done another. We drank some of the sloe gin last night and that was lovely. I’m going to make the dress today / tomorrow. I’ve decided. It won’t be a quick win but I’m looking forward to the outcome.£108.92 / £250 spent so far.
