I frantically made a birthday card yesterday morning for my disorganised husband, did a great job, really liked it... he left it on the kitchen side. Could have skinned him!!!!
I packaged the bottom of the "card box" up this morning for a car boot/craft fair next weekend. I love making cards, and make them with people in mind, but I make so many that they just stack up. Hoping to sell a few to get rid, but we shall see! I'll see if I can donate them if not. I have used up a bundle of plastic card wrappers too, so sort of destashing?

I have a couple of pages to catch up on as I've been having internet problems and haven't had any connection for over a week - all sorted now though.
Thank you for all the kind words about my Labrador she was very naughty at stealing food, but I adored her. She certainly lived up to the quote about her breed "Labradors are stomachs on legs".GC Feb 25 - £225.54/£250 Mar £218.63/£2406 -

Animal tribe - sounds like my old Jack Russell - anything he wasn’t supposed to eat, he ate. He lived to 18 and sometimes I wonder how he got that far.Well had my hobbycraft Christmas voucher parcel. Some yarn, a looming kit, spare cards, letter stamps, 3 paint your own items, a mail holder that I’m going to paint for my penpal letters, a few sewing bits and pieces and a little crafting lamp that is charged by electric but then operates from a battery and it lights my desk nicely.Ive done a few days on my diamond painting - well the first of 5 that I have - and have started to make a dent in it.Ive also got on with a little bit of snowman cross stitch cards. I intended to give them for Christmas 2021 but fell behind and only had one done, so I’m going to get them done and am doing them slowly now.So

Husbands old jobs meant he wore grey cotton shirts and black trousers which he no longer needs and likely won’t wear again. So anyone have any ideas what I can turn them into - they aren’t sentimental at all but I don’t want to waste them if I could make something practical or useful out of themTime to find me again4 -
Well I am trying to total up what I have made in the last 8 weeks, hopefully I won't have forgotten anything!
16 small bags- as in photo- mainly made from material that I inherited in Feb.
10 doggy duvets
10 kennel coats- from old fleeces, coat linings upcycled
4 'teacloth' shopping bags
4 teeny Easter wreaths- old wooden curtain rings upcycled
4 knitted creme egg rabbits
5 crochet angels with goldfingering trim
8 Easter cards
2 L clothes rail covers ( tedious with 100% polyester fabric: horrid to do!)
1 voile curtain for bathroom rooflight (on my to do list at start of lockdown!)
1 crochet knee blanket
1 adult knitted hat
here are the kennel coats tied with new 'old style' rufflette which I bought from a charity shop: yards & yards of it! ( a roll in fact)
and just a few of the small bags. I inherited petersham ribbon which came in useful for handles. Most of these destined for Link-to-Hope shoeboxes.
When I listed that lot it proves I haven't exactly been thumb twiddling!!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I've mended and altered loads of things this year but don't seem to have made anything. I've started a rag rug from some old curtains but am only half way through (mind you I don't do things by halves and it is quite large).
I sit in my sewing room surrounded by boxes of fabric and think 'I really must make something' and then play another episode of Netflix. Ooops.
Must get my finger out before I drown in fabric.5
