looks good- even more beelike!
I will take photos of the dog coats when I have a few more made.
It's hot in my workroom now so about to finally sit in the garden.
However, I have made 1 today, 2 yesterday and I think there are 4 or 5 cut out. These are kennel coats- not high fashion! so they are made of whatever I have been given/ found/ bought on the £1 charity rail. Clearly not high fashion when you see the ties are made from old style Rufflette tape!!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Good morning, was really pleased to think I was finishing back of waistcoat last night and then realised I had mad a mistake 😱. Shoulder decrease is over 24 rows (very unusual) and got to the last row and stitch count didn't tally up. I was tempted to just cast off and leave it but it would annoy me so ripping it back today. At least it's not too many rows.
I'm having a lazy day today as I visited eldest son and his family yesterday ladened with chocolate eggs 🐥. Journey takes 2 hours each way and I'm always shattered next day. Granddaughter loved her little pink shoulder bag.Happy Easter xxKatie hound - thanks for the link. I have saved it and will make some for next ChristmasDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Plumduff55- just what are you going to make? so much choice
Incidentally if anyone wants a little knitted stocking I have a pattern- someone shared it on this forum years ago.
I think those donkeys are adorable.
I am just crocheting a knee blanket trying to use up boring old non-colours! looks like most of the greys have gone- woops- need grey for a little donkey! (Knee blanket to go with my shoeboxes for Link-to-Hope which go to E Europe)
Last night in the back of a kitchen cupboard I found a bag of 'Crispy oranges' which I bought cheap and had clearly forgotten about! As Claudia would say "A little win" .. except it's a BIG one. They won't last long- like Maltesers but Terry's orange......Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Love the minion and bee choc orange covers!
I have finished my first scrapbook project, 20 pages on a team building day from 2010 😊 My next project will be a scrapbook about my guinea pigs (from 2015!) and I'm also going to make a book about days out we do like visiting the sunflower farm, feeding the meerkats, visiting the seals at Horsey bay etc.
I made a couple of 80th birthday cards for MIL (she was pleased with them and has asked me to make 2 more) and been playing with gift bags - I've got some plain bags that I've been decorating as well. I'm determined to use stuff up but I think I could make something everyday for 10 years and still have stuff left over 😀
I'm mainly a card maker but have realised I only have a limited number of cards to give each year so not sure what to do now. I could keep making cards but will have too many so would be converting my stash into cards. What do others do with your excess makes?

I do a couple of craft fairs every year to sell some of the extra makes - I hate waste so once I’ve sewn something up I turn all the scraps into small items… but then there’s only so many headbands, scrunchies etc I need for myself.Chipping away at the craft stash one item at a time

oops wrote a longish answer and then hit a button and went 'incognito' on the computer. never been there before- and of course lost what I had written. Aaarrrgh.
wasn't vital
have used up a good part of 1/2 bin bag of fleecy stuff. 8 dog coats now need their tapes. 2 completely made. One blanket quartered and hemmed. All this lot due to leave on Thursday. Included in that was one of my gilets with broken zip- now a coat, and a tatty fluffy dressing gown that I acquired - more than 1/2 used. (photos when complete!)
Now have a carrier bag of fluffy bits for a friend to use at toddler group- they will make nice 'feelie' pictures.
need a day off. I don't want to see another dog coat for an hour or two!!
Crispy oranges didn't last long! It said 'big pack to share' but I'm not sure that 125g is THAT big a pack!!
headbands & scrunchies go into my shoeboxes. (or donated to others filling their boxes like the area organiser.) Found some dress belts that will turn into scrunchies- better than ties for dog coats.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Currently making a we dress for Staffordshire County Show’s W.I tent… the only thing it’s making a dent in is my sanity 😂😂😂
It doesn’t help that half the house is a building site atm, so I’m starting to struggle with projects unless they can be finished very quickly.Chipping away at the craft stash one item at a time

I’m glad everyone has been busy. I’ve really enjoyed my relaxed weekend - but I’ve also enjoyed the d getting stuff done too.160 / 250
i’ve done a few more bits of quilt today and I’ve hung one picture.I’ve started to spray another three frames. They’ll need another coat and I will aim to get them done this week after work. One was for a super awkward print I’ve had for ages needing a frame so I’m pleased with that.£89.92 / £250 spent so far. I bought another 6 picture frames at a car boot sale and one more picture. The budget will need revising as the crafting is also a decorating budget too. It’ll help me keep it in check but I may need to be a little flexi able with it.I’ve decided I’m going to sand down the beams in my house. It’ll be a messy pain in the butt and will require a scaffold tower as the kitchen ceiling is high. (I can touch the front room ceiling when on tip toes). It’s going to be a killer. But hopefully look amazing. And be done in a week.
