2022 - No Craft Spending - I WILL bust my stash and make pretty things!!!!!

I haven't had a chance to list all the things I have made in the last 6 weeks (4 of those at my holiday home so more crafts achieved) because since I got home I have been concentrating on doggy duvets.
10 delivered in the last 8 days, but today a very big blow as she told me in the village PO that they will be closing within a few/ couple of weeks. Gutted. They are my largest fund raisers.
On the bright side I have asked a pet food outlet on the industrial estate if they might sell for me (not for profit basis) and that is a possibility.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

March was a poor month for crafting. I started to crochet a lap blanket but only managed a couple of inches. I've spent most of March decluttering and cleaning in an effort to keep occupied, as my lovely black Labrador died at age 14. I managed to take a large amount of books to the charity shop, although I've saved a couple with interesting pictures to use in card making. Hopefully, I'll do better this month. I enjoy reading what other people are making as it helps me to stay motivated.GC Feb 25 - £225.54/£250 Mar £218.63/£2405

Sorry to hear about your black lab Animaltribe, it's hard when you lose a pet.
I like reading about everyone's crafty makes especially all the different types of crafting you all do. I've been dabbling really, made a thank you card for work, both mother's day cards and have been asked to make 2 x 80th cards- one for the lady who runs all the local card making sessions! So a bit of a challenge.
I've managed to find a new monthly craft club as my old one has now closed due to COVID, its about 40 mins away. They meet the first Sat of the month, only for 4 hours at the moment but hoping it'll become all day at some point. I went for the first time and it was lovely to be crafting socially again. It also motivates me more to craft at home. I decided to try scrapbooking again and I'm on page 10 so far and I'm enjoying the challenge.6 -
Hello all, I am back! I have moved, mostly unpacked and can at least get craft stuff in and out. To that end, I have repaired a pair of trousers to be gotten rid of, and have started a pair of kids PJs. They were for my son, but will be for a cousins kid for Christmas as they won't fit my son now!! I need to unpick the leg cuffs as I put them on the wrong way, but almost one complete item, and the t shirt neckband and hemming to do.
I do need to buy some coordinating fabric for a draft excluder for the conservatory- nothing I have big enough matches the room 🤦♀️ I will look for a remnant of upholstery fabric from somewhere and try not to buy any more!!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Sorry for the loss of your dog. Xxxx
well done on the move and being mostly unpacked. I’m trying to get there still. It’s not exactly quick though. So you deserve a cheer for how far you have got. Xx128 / 250£78.92 / £250 spent so far. 12 picture frames bought for 14 off quid.I have a feeling I may end up over budget with spends. But some of this is diy too. So I need screws to hang a print tray when I’ve renovated it. But also to fix a carpet holder downer thingy. So duel purpose. So I’m not feeling to bad and I’m slowly getting stuff up on the walls etc. pretty pleased with progress right now. Xx

Coming to join the stash busting having spent too much money on supplies recently (oops) on top of what I already have 😬.
Hoping to put it to good use and sell some makes along the way perhaps. Currently making a rag wreath for the first time but as my wee moneyspender (5yo) is home poorly it’s not getting decorated very fast!

Well I spent my hobbycraft Voucher online last night on a few bits to keep the kids busy over Easter.
worked it out to dead on £30 and then checked the voucher and it was actually for £50 so I went back and added some more bits for myself and spent £48.05!Should keep us busy over Easter though I hope.I have also sat and done some diamond painting today. I brought them during the first lockdown and never got round to doing them.I also found an old notebook and have written all my projects and to do things in it and I think I’m safe to say I’m on about 30 things now! So I’m going to slowly start ticking them off!Time to find me again4 -
I will look in my stash for yarn to use when I receive the knitting patterns that should arrive soon.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
