Congrats on the new home emsi_b.
So sorry to hear you are unwell Chainik Crafts. Wishing you a speedy recovery and hoping you are not too poorly to craft to pass the time.
Nimbo - very impressed with the housework - I'm still not sure what that is
I've got to confess to spending more money since my last check in but all of it is for orders so I promise I have spent far less than what the orders are worth. I've still managed to be good and not buy any card making bits and bobs as I have so much already. I've also sold a few bits from my crafty destash on FB too so they are now out of my craft room and I cannot be tempted to keep them.
I've been beavering away on more orders too so I'm now up to 417/2022 makes and my crafty spend now stands at £40.35/£300.Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02 Stash Busting Challenge 2024 Lost count but no craft spending4 -

florenceem, you have so many original ideas! They are perfect for stalls.
Good luck with your stash spreadsheet, plumduff55. I’ve already found mine quite useful. BTW, I have only recorded my DK stash as that’s what I have most of. Congrats on getting your bed runner finished. BTW I read ‘new dgs’ as new dogs and had lovely image of well dressed pooches! I still use some favourite baby knitting patterns (price 6d) from the late 60s and 70s! I did pass a lot on to a charity shop.
Your needles must super hot, Wraithlady. Congrats on getting that shawl finished.
AnimalTribe, I love the idea of fluffy pink sheep.
Thanks for that wee boost for me, re resisting the trousers, cupcakecraftsscuddlycanine. Sometimes that’s just what I need to keep me in check!
craftingmad, your friend will be delighted to receive that print.
It’s so difficult to know what to do about new plants just now, nimbo. It’s been t-shirt weather here (17C) for the last few days, with some overnight frost on a couple of occasions. Apparently the temperature is expected to drop by 10 degrees next week! Enjoy getting stuck into making that dress and using your new tools. Have fun at the wedding.
Auti, those bracelets are lovely, so intricate.
Chainik Crafts, I had covid in February, but I was lucky – I was completely asymptomatic. I’d tested negative the previous day but went for a PCR test because my husband had a ‘cold’ and that was positive. I’m glad I wore a mask (and still do) in enclosed spaces, or I could have been spreading it to who knows how many people. Get well soon.
Happy new home, emsi_b.
I’ve not done much lately. I made 10 masks, 4 for St Patrick’s Day (given away) and 6 for Ukraine (sunflowers on one side and blue and yellow batik fabric on the other). I did buy fabric for these, but, instead of giving them away as I usually do, I’ll be asking for donations for DEC. I have 6 more for Ukraine ready to sew and I will be making as many more as I can before next Friday.
I finished the pink and lilac crochet jumper and added a crochet unicorn head as directed by my 4-year-old granddaughter. I’ve started a top-down knitted cardigan for a 1-year-old. It uses 3 colours, so my spreadsheet came in useful for seeing which little balls I could use. I’ll probably do another crochet jumper after that, same pattern as before as it is cute and quick! These woollies will go to a charity shop or a foodbank.
Happy crafting everyone.

I love how busy people have been. I’ve spent the day sewing. I’ve fixed 5 more bits to the quilt. Yay.So I’m up to 98 / 250. And hoping to get a. Bit more done tonight. Although I’m still pleased I’ve made some progress.
i have high hopes for more pictures in the walls as time goes on. I’m sick of having nothing on walls in rented houses and now I own I’m going to stick picture hooks everywhere. 🤣🤣23.87 / £250 spent so far. I don’t count my social sessions as money spent as it’s about not being in the house.Hope you’ve all been loving the weather. Xxxxx

Good morning crafters, not a lot done here at the weekend as I had 3 of my grandchildren staying over ( 6, 9 and 11). Makes me realise my age as I was totally exhausted by the time they went home. I did enjoy having them but it was hard work. The younger two seemed to fight all the time and I was judge, jury and executioner 🤨.
I have finished the Aran baby jacket but still to sew it up. I'm now knitting the cap. Yesterday was spent sewing alterations for mum who had been to M&S and spent her Xmas money. Before COVID she went into town on her own every week and was very active but now only goes out when someone is able to go with her. Sad to see the change.
Before kids arrived I did sew the second Xmas quilt block and very happy with it. This is going to use up a lot of my Xmas fabrics.

I am busy knitting chick creme egg covers for SA fund raising using yarn from my stash which must be at least 30 years old.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Kids are such hard work. 🤣🤣
my mum made a break for it part way through lockdown. I caught her at the supermarket as my sister refused to buy her flowers. Said they weren’t essential. She was too scared to go in to pay so I did. A few weeks later when Mum realised we’d counted how many bottles of wine and how many people were in the house (2) she decided she needed to regain her independence or she thought she may never go back to the shops.I’m impressed with the 30 year old stash busting. So I’m up to 103 / 250.I’ve made some more bits for the quilt. Yay. Not got far but steady away. I’m impressed I’ve done something on a work night.23.87 / £250 spent so far. I don’t count my social sessions as money spent as it’s about not being in the house.

Have you ever found a thread and just think ‘I have found my tribe’?May I please join if you have room for another crafty amongst you?My husband brought me a craft table for Christmas and it’s set up in the living room and I’ve used it a handful of times (mainly as a homework station) and my crafts and things to do are mounting up.I have had a bag of clothes outside that I planned to donate and I’ve just sat and gone through them because I was gifted a sewing machine at Christmas too and I wanted to find pretty fabric in the bag!I have diamond painting, painting, knitting, crochet, letters, drawing, colouring, cross stitch etc. I also have a few bags and wooden bits upstairs to paint as well! Oh and 3 paper mache dinosaurs!I think I need to make a checklist and slowly work my way through them.Last project was a ‘gift bag’ for my mother in laws birthday. Hand painted by myself.I look forward to seeing everyone’s crafts and learning some new things.Going to set my cap at £100 but I already have a £35 hobbycraft voucher from Christmas to use so that will go soon no doubt!Making Changes To Save My LifeCurrent weightloss - 2lbs (week 1)5
