Some weeks cleaning just doesn't get done when expected. I was supposed to do laundry on Monday - but it may have to wait unit Saturday or even next Monday. Instead, I took a friend to get a flu shot and do his weekly grocery shop early on Monday. Took him home, and then picked up my sister's boyfriend's sister who lives with them and speaks very little English to take her for a hospital appointment. I turned out to be a biopsy but she couldn't explain things to me and they didn't so what we thought would be a couple of hours turned into 7 in the waiting room. Fortunately I had brought lunch and two books to work on that I am writing so I could keep busy but it was five hours before they told me it would be another two hours in recovery and I was getting nervous. Home to find that no one had taken out the trash yet for pick-up on Tuesday so spent time working on that (they had been asked to). Did my school work as two new classes started online today. Worked on some indexing I am doing for a Parish in Switzerland. Tuesday, had to go and pick up books from a church rummage sale. First had to go by the library and pick up empty boxes - got twelve which is all we could fit in my car. Took several hours to load the boxes (all full, plus two lids) and then take them to the library and unload them Didn't realize lifting weights came with the job as president of the Friends of the Library - but it does. Took our little dog to the groomer's as apparently she had rolled in dropped mashed potatoes. Went back to the library to unload the boxes because we need them again for Thursday to finish picking up more books. Then went to Family History Center with 15 minutes to spare to work with people there. Volunteer there six hours a week (3 on Tuesday, 3 on Thursday). Did more indexing when I got home. Today, went to my therapy appointment - for a torn rotator cuff which hasn't been helped by the lifting and sorting. Took one roommate to the bank to get him some cash and so he could pay his rent. He paid for our lunch out. Then home to work on the computer. We are going back to the library today to sort the books onto the proper shelves by subject for our monthly sale this Friday. Tomorrow have to pick up more boxes of books, then take a friend to the doctor (two hours there), and back to the library to finish up getting ready for Friday. Evening back to the Family History Center.
Friday is the sale. We get there at 9, leave about 6 in the evening and go home and collapse.

@EnergyShifter, sounds a very special day for you.
@roundtuit , impressed by your progress and reminds me when I listed almost daily things improved... now I'm in chaos
DB stayed last night and he took a signed form and a copy of my certified passport. Offered a bed to the donation hub .. hoping they want it. Perfect condition and given by a neighbour for DD1 who then bought her own.
Will return seriously in November.8 -
DH is very happy with the medal @Mrs_Salad_Dodger He definitely deserves it.
Hugs to Siebre and family.
I will bring lettuce next time @vulpix
Just Wow @weenancyinAmerica Please take care of yourself.
Almost organised today. Prepped a slow cook stew before leaving the house this morning. Did childcare duties yesterday and today. When I finished today I went to get my covid booster and flue jab. They always make me feel ropey. I have two day window to rest but have to be ok by Friday afternoon as taking Sis and BiL to train station and picking up DD at the same time coming in the opposite
Took two more bags back the the CS of their Christmas stash.
Served stew to the family again tonight although MiL not well and didn't come. Another cough. Her going to London on a coach then the theatre probably wasn't a good idea. I hope it is just a cough.
Anyway. A reasonably sucessful day.

Morning xx
I didn't get much done last night as I decluttered myself down to the village pub and had tea with an ex colleague who wants to keep in touch. I can't remember the last time I went out on an evening....and I didn't really need a brave to do it. I just went. Mindset is definitely altering 😊
Anyhoo there's only a couple of items left to sort from the bin bag, so I've brought down a carrier bag from the RoD ready to go through this evening. Under the bag were several empty carrier bags???? No, I don't know why they were there either! So I bunged them into the carrier that I was bringing down. And. Guess what!!!!
I found my suitcase!!!! I wondered where it was! It's still mostly buried, but there it is. It's made my day - I may have peaked a little early there! I'm now hopeful that the flat pack box containing my bedside cabinet will surface at some point. It's very exciting isn't it? Don't you think?
I know that my sewing basket is in one of the (many) boxes in the Cupboard of Doom under the stairs .... which is an incentive to sort that out. But I'll get the Room of Doom floor unearthed first.
Have a good day

Tuesday I unpacked the car and found out cheeky DB had added extras into the bags of stuff. Did go through them with purpose and did manage to oust some straight away. 2 or 3 will go when I get them listed for sale.
Did get 2 lots of washing and drying completed.
Today looks like an ironing day.
( clearly got distracted here by not finishing my post)
Yesterday (Wednesday) not really decluttered anything other than time whilst using up (decluttering) gifted wool and also an abundance that has just arrived from my parents house. In amongst the bits there was an old wool ball holder/dispenser which is now being usedI like to crochet blankets and am not interested in making anything more than that as it is just switch off time for me. I know there will be plenty of people who will intime need extra layers for us all to get through this and be even more prepared for next winter.
2 Scratters xx
