It took a couple of hours to sweep up and do a bit of weeding but it looks much better.
Mr V was a man possessed. A large pile of wood taken to neighbours who have a wood burner. Car loaded up with outdated broadcasting stuff for the tip tomorrow with some cardboard boxes. Bag of stuff for Bit by bit found. Loadsa stuff photographed for listing on FB marketplace.Parcel packaged for return. A box of photographs put in the loft. Drilling will have to be another day.
Also into car for tomorrow, gifts for great nieces and nephew, 2 rolls of xmas paper for MIL from stash. I think I will send a pile of my gift bag stash to the chazzer. I will never use them in a month of Sundays especially as the family do secret santa now.
Excellent work roundtuit. You have the bug now.
Jess, here's hoping you all get some rest tonight xx

8 files/ folders dropped off, got bank to certify a copy of my passport, changed DD2 appointment and booked driving lesson for her. Dropped off food parcel, some post and some packaging for DD1 to return things.
DB staying tomorrow and hoping he will help me hang some curtains. Few emails to move things along.9 -

Monday was a mainly dry, bright day with some short showers. Plumber eventually turned up about 2:30 p.m. - so much for mid to late morning 😂 Boiler certified ‘healthy’ for another year 🙂
DH & I are going to a wedding on Saturday so needed to find suitable clothing. Limited success for DH as his suit still fits but none of his shirts 🙁 Ordered a couple online. I was successful - dress & loose jacket still fit (although could do with losing a few pounds for the dress to look nicer 😉) Checked that the men’s shoes I bought a while ago don’t need breaking in (they don’t) + selected a ‘pearl’ necklace from my jewellery box. Just need to find a handbag - hopefully I have one in my wardrobe 🤞The hunt for clothing resulted in 2 shirts having buttons removed & being cut up for rags + a pair of uncomfortable shoes from my wardrobe put into CS bag which had already been started & had extra items from DSis. I will try to fill it tomorrow. DH booked bike in for MOT then phoned his DSis. My activity was restricted to catching up with three days post & clearing down more programmes from planner. Dinner was bolognaise sauce from freezer with pasta shells. Wudupa.
1720 - 1727 Kitchen & office recycling, drinks cans, 2 cardboard boxes, shoe box, cardboard packaging, paper packaging - recycled

1734 - 1748 Five mini puzzles, boxed puzzle, pair of headphones, Darth Vader helmet key ring, light sabre key ring, key ring, watch, 3 necklaces & a ring (costume jewellery)You are very welcome roundtuit 🙂 Excellent decluttering - you are definitely firing on all cylinders 👏 A published poet 🥳 Good luck with finding more of your poems 🍀
GrannyKate, how fortuitous an extended trip with DD 😊 Excellent decluttering especially the dehumidifier 👏 Everything crossed that the remedial work is done quickly & efficiently 🤞 You are definitely going to be busy this week - please try not to tire yourself out 🙏 Sounds like GD1 has the same appreciation for distance as I do 😂
Wow roundtuit, when you catch the decluttering bug you go all out 👏 The advantage to fully sorting out one box at a time is that you find all sorts of interesting & forgotten memorabilia 🙂 as well as being able to deal all the contents before moving onto the next box 👏Excellent decluttering vulpix 👏 Well done on finally training MrV 😉

Morning xx
I work Tuesday to Friday and I'm out of the house 8am to 5pm - usually I come home and flump in a chair all evening. But I did notice that the next bin bag in RoD has Toy Story bed linen in it....so I'm thinking I'll bring it down this evening and make a start on that.
Don't want to lose my momentum and someone out there may be searching cs for what's in that bag.
See you later

I have a list going on at the moment that needs completing today as stuff has come from parents house and I need to deal with it quickly it either stays or goes. I'll be propping the loft up otherwise. I really need to get stuff onto ebay to help shift somes items.
Catch up later

Don't know what roundtuit has in their coffee but they slipped abit in my morning cuppa
and I have tackled the Shed of Doom and decluttered a load of old tat/non R ,R or R into the bin for tomorrows collection plus took the crowbar to two wicker chairs that were way beyond R,R or R and decluttered alot of pent up frustration / fed upness in the process.
Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.Thats what I keep telling myself :-)8 -

Tuesday is a lovely day - clear blue skies & bright sunshine but a chilly breeze. DH left about 8:00 a.m. for his last RBR drive of 2022. Headed to the Cotswolds. I have phoned bank & updated my accounts - no cc bill to pay as overpaid last month 🙂
Back to cheerleading
roundtuit, love the idea of visitors leaving with items to aid your decluttering 😉😅 Yippee to an empty box & then utilising it to sort out a new area of clutter 👏 You are definitely on a roll 👏 Wow roundtuit absolutely excellent decluttering 🤩 Nooooo, please don’t recycle your magic box 😂 Sounds like the conversion from ‘trying to declutter’ to ‘declutterer extraordinaire’ is complete 🥳 - you are wondering what is in a box rather than dreading having to open it 👏 And now you have transferred your decluttering skills to black bin bags 👏
Oh QueenJess - I wish I could give you a big hug 🤗 & a chance to catch up on some sleep 😔
The EDT has picked up speed again 🙂, bit_by_bit you must be looking forward to your cruise 🥳 Good luck with the capsule wardrobe 🍀 Hopefully most of your ‘shopping’ can come out of your wardrobe 🤞
grandmanerd, you have been busy 👏 even though you are still suffering from the lurgy. Not only decluttering appointments, but shopping, cleaning, sorting accounts & decluttering physical items - wow 🤩
Lovely post Floss 😊
vulpix, I think both you & MrV are both ‘possessed’ 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏 DH has earned his own Gold Star ⭐️
Excellent work TC77 👏 another one on a roll 🙂
I am so impressed roundtuit 🥳 your momentum is fuelling not only the EDT but also several of your fellow declutterers 👏
Excellent work 2Scratters 👏 Good luck with your listings on eBay 🍀 The sooner it is done the sooner you can fill up the coffers 😉
fritzie-65, let’s hope roundtuit keeps spiking our morning cuppas 😅 Great work 👏
Thank you all especially roundtuit 👏 Reading through your posts, inspired me to revisit my bedding so one duvet cover, 2 fitted sheets & 4 pillow cases (no longer match the bedroom colour scheme) are now in the cs bag which is full 🥳 Now just need to stir my stumps & drop it off at the cs 😉
1749 - 1755 KS Duvet cover, 2 KS fitted sheets, 4 pillowcases in CS bag
