Roundtuit you have spurred everyone on,well done. I don't mind how many times you post, I am enjoying your enjoyment.
Tried to eat a frog and see a health care professional, not today just sometime. No chance.
Mr V is pleased with his medal,Thank you. Today he donated 2 pairs of trainers and gave away 3 flight cases. He has listed a couple of things for sale but it could be a while as they are a bit specialist.I have sorted out about 20 gift bags to go. I have also knitted my Mum a pair of slippers, using up wool. I need to make something bigger next to use up more stuff! Perhaps the sashiko quilt, I am not really feeling that atm.
Enjoyed catching up with my friend. We have been friends for an unbelievable 51 years. I don't feel old enough or grown up enough to have been a friend that long.
Tomorrow DIY frogs, mirror and pictures. I feel that the Bedrooms and sitting room are more or less as I want them now. a little cluttered perhaps but I couldn't live a minimalist lifestyle. I enjoy having things I like around me. I can guarantee it won't be long till I want to change everything and possibly even move house!
Work continues on the culvert. They have had a huge problem getting a calor gas canister out as it was stuck fast.
Love to all Vx:8 -

roundtuit, not a tsunami at all. I rather enjoyed reading about all your successes & as you can see I was inspired to do some proper decluttering 🙂 So not only did it keep you going but you got me started, so thank you. I love your description of being ‘tidal rather than obsessive’ 😊 Excellent decluttering roundtuit 👏

I turned my back for 5 minutes and there were 25 posts to read. I love to hear everyone's ideas, successes and failures. We are all in the same boat. Decluttered money last night but got shopping for our long weekend away and some stuff for the following week. Also got 3 Christmas things.
1172 Spare wallet (of late DH) to CS bag
1173 Small mirror and other tat from bedside drawer binned.
1174 Family History stuff done and shared
1175 Photos downloaded, saved, deleted etc
I found another one of my small glass animals that needs its ears stuck back on shoved at back of bedside drawer. I had 3 repaired earlier in the year and I was sure I was missing one. Will take to the store (nearest one Sheffield) in the next few weeks. Meanwhile it is sitting where I won't forget it but it does have its original box.
My house still smells awful as water dries out more from floors and walls. Waiting to hear about new floors. Telecoms company did give me access to my account at third attempt but still not sure it is right. Bill due on 22nd so I will wait and see if it is right that is assuming they actually send me it.
Woodland walk this pm but starting nearby which is good as no need to take car. Will get dressed and put the washing on.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

I did manage to summon up the energy to meet a friend last night - we went to the Gaia exhibit in Southwark Cathedral - I've always managed to miss it when its been other places. We walked along the River and saw Tower Bridge going up which I haven't seen for years! .
Today is the first day since the weekend that I have woken up feeling anything like human so I am hoping that I will get to catch up on a few things.

We spent the weekend in my hometown; we stayed at SIL's and spent the days at my parents'. They had made list of things they would like us to do, and we completed most of the list.We discussed funeral arrangements, wills, division of items in the home, etc. Not nice, but necessary, and good to talk through and make up your mind beforehand. I'm the executor of their wills, and parents and I expect a battle with my estranged sister. Parents and sister have made up to the extent that they visit each other for 2 hours on birthdays, and sister has started bringing parents freezer meals whenever she visits her ex (the father of her eldest dd), who lives in the village next to our hometown. My father has started chemo on Friday, and so far has not had any side effects. He's very relieved.Out: 3 pairs of ankle socks from dd1 that dd2 doesn't like.Incoming soon: a doll's house that my father made from scratch and that dd2 says she wants to have in her new room. I'll post a picture soon. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.599

Popping in during my lunch break to tell you that I took out the remaining contents of the bin bag before I came to work this morning.
There was bedding, face cloths and a towel....all of which I'll deal with tonight.
I have a like with like pile for bedding and one for towels in RoD2 so they'll probably go up there - need to check condition first.
Then I'll bring down another bin bag 😊
Hope you're all having a good day

floriana, I forgot to say your new fireplace is lovely.
I think your parents are being most sensible siebrie. Your Dad doesn't want your family to have to deal with a mess once he is gone, that is very thoughtful of him.x
I have bitten the bullet and weighed myself today. I have put 2 1/2 stone on in 18 months. That takes dedication! I am going to apply myself and knock the biscuits off.
Mr V has sold some speakers. kerching. Once they have been collected we will venture out to try to get a covid booster.

Good news about your dad @Siebrie and I agree, far better to have the discussions now rather than when the inevitable is eventually staring you down.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Siebre hugs to you and your Dad, hopefully he never has any adverse reactions.
Energyshifter congrats on the Baptism and Confirmation
Roundtuit I enjoy your small snippet posts. Well done on everything you have achieved so far and keep on going, you are a great encouragement to others.
Yesterday I went shopping and decluttered some £'s buying birthday presents for my Dad and DGD as both are next week. I bought a couple of things to put away for xmas too. I also treated myself to 2 new oven trays, such extravagance 😂 so now the old ones are out for the scrappy man. An opened and now OOD bottle of DH's red pepper sauce has also gone.
Today I shall accompany DH to another of his oncology injections, the poor man's like a pin cushion and he'll be sore for a few days, but he never moans 🧡. I'll have to sit in the car though because they won't allow me in, so I'll declutter a bit more of a hard going book on my kindle. I will not be defeated!
Take care all,
