Nothing decluttered today. DBro2 received the call that his best mate had died. J had a very aggressive form of cancer that had spread and it was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened. Fortunately although J lived the other side of the country DBro2 has been down to see him several times in the last few weeks.Tears have been shed for everyone involved as J truly was a lovely, kind man.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

It made it past 41C - 107 F - so 41.6667. Not expected to be under 100 F all week. So glad our book sale isn't for two more weeks since we usually hold it outside. Decided to sit and write instead on book that has been in progress for about 20 years. I can finish the ones on how to trace your family tree with no problem. But the other books I sometimes have problems organizing my thoughts. Have much of it done now - 150 pages so far. If the week does continue this hot, I may get books done faster instead of thinking about the housework. Feed the pets, do the dishes - then write most of the day.10

Hugs to all who need them. Lazyish weekend on my own so hope I have a bit more oomph this week. Decluttered blockage in vacuum which now works a lot better and cleaned through although kitchen floor needs a good clean with old fashioned mop and bucket. Have put some weight back on - 2lbs- but lots of meals eaten with visitors etc.

2 frogs swallowed and 1 postponed.- frog 1: dd2's (11) birthday party. Done, at home, 8 11-year olds, games in our backyard ('how to become a secret agent'). Loud, but fun. I limited it to 2.5hrs, which was 15 minutes too long for my dd2.- frog 2: I'm leader of the church's Sunday school team (for this year - I was clear on my time frame), and have recently taken up leading the monthly teenager group. Sunday school is every week during the church service, teenager group is on the first Sunday of the month, also during the church service. Last week, the leader of yesterday's Sunday school claimed he had a prior engagement he'd forgotten about, so I asked my dd1 (14) to lead the Sunday school. She accepted, then chickened out on Sunday morning! Being the flexible group we are, I had all 12 of them around 1 large table, Sunday school children on one side, teenagers on the other. I told the story (I always tell, I never read it out), we talked about it a little bit, and then the Sunday school children did their crafts / played (the 5-year old), and the teenagers (10-18) did the boardgame that came with the story. It involved sweets, and they had great fun. As it was 'Start Sunday' we had a potluck picknick afterwards.-frog 3 (postponed): husband was supposed to fly back on Saturday night, and had asked me to pick him up from a hard-to-reach station (remember?). He fell ill with presumably malaria on Saturday morning. He has a lot of medication now; he managed to change his ticket without extra charge to next Saturday. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5910

Hi chums. I am sorry to hear of the troubles some of you have.I thought we were pretty much slim line as far as ‘stuff’. In the past two years so much has moved on. I am still surprised that we keep finding stuff to go. We bring very little in. I am a clothesaholic and for me bought very little this year. I fully intend to continue to buy very little clothing. I am SABLE for pants and socks! Mr V has had new Chelsea boots. Old ones binned. He wears either boots or trainers only and has a new pair about every 18 months. Our mission is to only replace things if we need to.He is currently setting up his studio in the giant shed. He is going through storage drawers that he has gone through many times in the last couple of years and outing loadsa stuff. Hoorah. We need to make room for all the gubbins from the pantry of doom. I am quite looking forward to reacquainting myself with all that stuff. It is all like a massive game of Tetris. I may have to relent and put Christmas decorations in the loft. Once the sheds are tidy and the kitchen contents gone through the whole house will have been scrutinised this year.Builders didn’t come. New baby issues.Vx:9

Today I learned
(when I was following up some rumour dd1 (14) had passed on to me as we were going through last year's and the year before's school stuff): in Belgian secondary schools, each year, in each class, 3 pupils are 'chosen' to keep their books and graded tests for 10 years, just in case the School Inspection wants to check if the tests were actually set out for and taken by the pupils. Luckily, dd1 has not been 'chosen' and I can happily discard everything.

Mr V took a car load of electricals to the tip. I am pleased to say a man saw him unloading and asked if he could have the majority of it. Disco lights, old 8 track players and 8 track cassettes. I am pleased they didn’t go to landfill. He has offered a very large box of cables to the local amateur theatre. Other stuff listed on a free site.I gave my lovely neighbour the new towels. She always puts my bin out and brings it back. They went away last week and I took the bin a day late. I have asked for written instructions for next time they go away! She works at a school and they are collecting blister packs to recycle and raise funds. Great.it gives me great satisfaction to own less.Vx:9

It’s great to see so many people able to avoid landfill. I go out of my way to do so. My first port of call these days is to offer everything on my local buy nothing site and almost everything goes and they pick it up from outside your door. Everything else I go out of my way to give to charity, or as a last resort try to recycle. Can’t remember the last time I binned anything.2025 decluttering: 3,5045🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅
