My husband's wardobe was very easy to do. I am dyeing 4 pairs of trousers and a t-shirt black when the dye arrives.
We decluttered three very faded pairs of trousers, a shirt, a pair of formal trousers and a jumper with bleach stains on it. They will have to go into textile recycling as I doubt a chazzer would want them.
After pic of his wardrobe now.

My wardrobe is done now too. That held me accountable posting pics on here to just go and get it sorted out.
I have a bag for the chazzer with 5 skirts, a cardigan and a silky nightie that doesn't fit me.
I also decluttered some out of date food from the fridge and I have bagged up some wine bottles to take to the recycling later.

You can hang up clothes in closets? Wow. No room for that in mine - clothes are folded on shelves instead as closets are full of other things. Still have a lot of decluttering to do for sure. Hanging clothes in closets - what a dream.10

Those wardrobes are amazing.. mine look very cluttered by comparison and I’ve got rid of tons of things! I have splashed out on 3 new to me dresses for the summer though, which was a bit frivolous.
Spent 1.5 hours with DS tidying his room. I was not happy about it, although I did make him work hard! Now I’ve actually got time to do proper parenting, it’s on the list to sort. I’m thinking enforced tidying time everyday before dinner. I don’t need a perfectly tidy room, but having toys all over the floor so I can’t even get in the room without hurting myself is not acceptable…
I also received DDs hook for her door yesterday and I put it up myself today and hung her dressing gown on it. One less thing lingering on the floor! Will have to get round to the other little jobs around the house as well.
Anyway, in my tidying I managed to find a few more things to eject from the house. I tend to think that if the place isn’t perfectly tidy we must have too much stuff. It isn’t a crazy premise since I tend to have things perfectly away and if it’s too hard to put them away as a cupboard/drawer is too full, I procrastinate and leave things out. It means my house looks perfect if you open anything, but does have things lying about… it’s a bit of a contrast. As I’ve bought a few things we’ve needed recently (as well as a couple of things we didn’t), there is definitely a bit of excess that should be going as well as making sure things are getting used up as some of the cupboards are more full than I would like.
Anyway, enough waffling for now as DD is back to sleep again. Decluttering efforts for today:

Holiday Mantras
1. Try not to eat too much but drink plenty of water
2. Restrict time playing AB2 to 45 mins in the morning & 60 mins in the evening 😉
3. Breakfast everyday with the family 😉
4. Enjoy the excursions
Sunday has been another scorcher & only the occasional breeze so it seemed hotter 🥵 We bagged our cabana & went to breakfast - DH had yogurt, croissants & Danish pastries (we appropriated a croissant & some bread for the fish 🐠😉) + his usual eggs, bacon & sausages. I had fruit platter with a new fruit - soursop - strange texture & cannot describe the taste but I like it 🙂 I also had 2 fried eggs & some bread for dipping (I like a runny yolk 😉) + toast & marmalade. Drinks were sparkling water, mimosas & coffee - although 2 of our party had tea.
After breakfast DH went straight into the sea with some bread - he was mobbed by the fish 🙂 T,w & S also went in & fed the fish. Finally I went in & took the croissant & the rest of the bread & fed the fish - saw at least 3 more types - a large Angel Fish, a bright iridescent silver fish & my favourite type - turquoise blue head, the black, white, black stripes side to side & finally a yellowy green tail- so beautiful 😻 I was in & out of the water several times fish spotting & having conversations with many different people from - Texas, Wales, south of England & Leicester to name a few. DH saw a frigate bird - I wasn’t wearing my glasses so all I saw was clouds & blue sky. A bite to eat on the beach - onion rings & crispy potato & cheese balls - delicious 🤤 DH also tried the pasta, as well as sampling at least 3 different cocktails 😱 I had 1.5 Pink Lemonades & lots of melon water. Eventually left the beach about 5 p.m., returned to our rooms, showered & changed for dinner & set off at 6:15 p.m. - we went to the Mexican restaurant & managed to get straight in. Sparkling water, mimosas/rum & coke as our drinks. Everyone had something different but I had taco salad 🥗 & 3 enchiladas with a spicy coleslaw - ate 2 & gave one to DH, W had cheese & potato chowder then 3 spicy fish tacos one of which was given to DH 😉 DH ordered burritos (2 small ones arrived), then brisket & macaroni cheese - he was suitably full 😉 Got back to our rooms before 8:20 p.m. 🙂 but had to use the Service lift as the guest lift was broken 😞 Sadly although using sun cream - I have not used enough - have a red area at the back of my left arm & a small area on the left side of my torso. I will borrow one of DH’s light t-shirts tomorrow to cover up 😞😔
Straight into cheerleading
Vascodakarma, I think your mantra is wonderful & applies to daily life as well as holidays “be very grateful & keep it simple” Oh dear, I know you were kind of looking forward to being in temporary accommodation so that you could be rehoused more permanently 😉 Your landlord is obviously dragging his heels or not able to sell up as quickly as he would like 😔 I love it that everything is sorted & that you are just a Pleasure Seeker 👏 Happy Birthday Vascodakarma 🎉 🎊 Enjoy your day 🙂
Wednesday2000, you have to have lots of stuff otherwise what can you declutter 😉😉 I must say I don’t think the wardrobes are too bad 🙂 however seeing the after photos you have done an excellent job of decluttering 👏
vulpix, same here 😂 Hope DD2 & BF have come ready to help with the painting 😉🤞
Oh weenancy you did make me smile 😁 I hope your roommates have been helping you with the decluttering 🤞Quick question, has husky been rehomed?
QueenJess, I agree the wardrobes are amazing 🥲 I have the same dream as weenancy 😉 Well done on starting a new system for DS - no dinner until he has tidied his room/put away toys each day 😅 Excellent decluttering 👏 and I can see why you want to declutter a few more things 😉

My kitchen in my new house is bugging me as it has even less cupboard space than my old one and that was useless too.
I did buy a second hand shelf to put in the space where the fridge freezer should be, as ours didn't fit so we had to buy a smaller separate fridge and freezer and get rid of our old one. Even with the "new" shelf my kitchen looks cluttered. I just got an Asda grocery delivery and I feel like I've been playing Tetris moving stuff around.
I did get rid of some packaging into the recycling bin, but that is about all!2025 GOALS
