Great news @teachergirl and congrats @accidentalglixch
Been home all day but not done as much as hoped as flitting abit, but 2 email frogs sent... may need more, and took broken storage box out of eaves, and its been recycled, and things put in new box I had already, and decided to tackle my posh wedding album - split up over 20 years ago. Hoped to remove photos so someone could use as perfect condition as never been looked at really!. Kept some photos in an enveloped labelled but takes up fraction of the space. Item posted, emails deleted and some paper recycled and shredded.
Waiting to hear if outpatient appt to be cancelled tues but working at home ( I normally do) I did buy a pedestal fan and was going to get rid of old heavy PC monitor but apparently I may need it to go through files on old PC. Winter task to go through all of those. Tidied my desk ready for the morning, and list of frogs to do at lunch or breaks.
Take care in the heat as it can be easy to forget to drink enough (water)

Evening declutterers
I've made a bit more progress in decluttering my garageDD1 helped me to carry up an old wooden blanket box that was in the garage but is now in DD2's room as storage for her jumpers. While DD1 was here i showed her some of the stuff in the garage so she took home a coat and a very old Nintend0 DS. I also gave DD1 a bottle of elderflower that i bought for her in the swedish emporium.
I threw away a few (very old) random sweets i found in the garage.
Happy holidays Mrs S_D!
love to all

2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉

Excellent start shabbychic12 👏retiredinfrance, not sure my DSis could be accused of being sophisticated 😉 Thanks for the good wishes re our holiday 🙂
Well done for not hunting out any more washing nannywindow 😉 I really hope that the bruises heal quickly 🤞 The messy fridge elf obviously got bored & ventured out to break your Denby bowl 😖 Although you shouldn’t rule out a giant spider wanting a clear path 🙃 Please don’t cry nannywindow, I will try to be descriptive when posting + photos so that you can feel like you are there ☺️Wildrose, I bet you enjoyed the Steam Engine Rally as much as your grand-daughter 😉 Fingers crossed that you get your MRI results quickly 🤞 Do you mind if I ask the name of the shop for the large of nork? What lovely items to bring into your home ☺️ Hope the Met Office are correct otherwise my DSis might melt 😉
florianatwobob, I will take it as channelling your inner medieval herbalist 😉 Quite jealous - your rosemary plant must be huge 🙂 My rosemary plant is about the size of the left hand bunch 😔vulpix sorry that you are missing out on the sunshine & warmth 😔
bit_by_bit a story telling festival sounds very interesting 🙂 Good luck with your planned decluttering 🍀 & hope the RL shenanigans are sorted satisfactorily 🤞
teachergirl, Typical that the cheque should arrive too late to actually bank immediately 😖 Hope you enjoy writing the ‘strongly worded letter’ 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏 Perhaps DS can get a bigger van 😉🙃
TC77, nothing wrong with flitting 😉 especially as you got so much done 👏 Well done 👏

Not too much happening here. Work is a bit out of control at the moment, so no time for anything else. However, last week this week and then I have four whole weeks off, so plenty of time to catch up then.
May need to reassess as I’ve had a few things come into the house the last couple of weeks. A very small purge may be on the cards to balance it out.
Generally I am just very slowly using things up (and not replacing them at the same volume) at the moment. Concentrating still on using up freezer/fridge/cupboard stuff to have a good clear out, but will take months to do. Lots of paperwork to go later this week once the work is done (I write lots of notes and am using up paper printed on one side).
2670 - 1 pack of micro green seeds used up (tons to go… will be eating them for years 😂)
2671 - 2685 - plant labels not needed
2686 - kitchen sponge beyond use
2689 - bathroom supplies used up
2690 - a broken plastic clip
2691-2695 - paperwork

Happy holidays Mrs SD. Hugs for all who need them. Not much gets decluttered and lots of things have come in because DGCs are here more. The days lurch from awful to b****y awful. We did have a fab weekend and put everything to one side. Original plans for me to go away on my own were scuppered by last minute urgent medical problem with cellulitis in my ankle so I couldn't drive. Only 50 miles away so went for a long day on Saturday instead with DS2 and children. DD staying at super place in country with outdoor swimming pool which the children loved. Sunday we stayed at home and had barbecue round our new paddling pool. Onward.2025 Decluttering Campaign 697/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟
