Wow, is it nearly a week since I dropped by?
Good grief. Anyway. The rummage sale I was going to do this Sunday is a no go for me: not doing it in that temperature and the "man with a van" has other fish to fry. I have other plans to get rid though, just need to corral stuff and make a few calls.
The electrician visit went well so that's sorted for another 5 yearsLightbulb stash needs replenishing.
Apart from that, having one of those weeks that I pretty much go to work - graduation season - come home on a hot bus and try and remember to eat something other than ice cream.
Numbers are:
3094-3160: items to bin and recycling but all routine stuff.

Hi everyone.
Sorry I've not posted since I first posted, I've been side tracked by allsorts.
My declutterig hasn't gone as well as I've hoped.
I've managed to cul loads of too small t-shirts, jeans and sweatshirts only to end up replacing them. Fortunately even with the jogging bottoms, jogger material shorts and underwear, I've hopefully not exceeded what I've removed.
I'm trying to re-home a plastic set of drawers and a bedside cabinet, plus wooden hangers.
I've managed to shred a load of paperwork to be dealt with soon and aim to have a sort out/tidy now college is finishing today until September and my voluntary role is finishing for the summer next week. And should have the extra time on my hands as long as I don't waste it like I have been.Decluttering campaign 2023

@Pennypincin Don't beat yourself up! Any progress is progress! Maybe it helps you to limit yourself to 10 sheets of paper per day? 3 items of clothing per day? Sometimes it helps to reduce the task to 'nothing', so that it feels as if it takes 'no-time-at-all', and can be done 'on the run'.

Out.Another half functional watch plus packaging.A fan that looks fancy and does nowt but use electric.A pair of gardening trousers.I have lost my secateurs, and now my trowel. I left both out in the garden. Most odd. It’s not as if anyone walks past. I am cross because they were both expensive and should have lasted me forever.I am sleeping very badly,I was out in the garden at 5am. That’s how I know my trowel wasn’t where I left it. I bought some 1/2 price plants last night when I went to buy black enamel paint for the door handle.Another coat or two of duck egg on the back door next. The joiner is still here, insulating the giant shed.Thank goodness it’s a bit cooler here today.Vx:8

I'm intrigued by the 3 items of clothing per day.
I've had a mini win, as I was tempted to buy loads of seeds half price from wilko.
I've settled on 1 pack I'd been eyeing up and 4 for a present.

Dropped off at the cs the toy watering can found in the garage last week, 2 like new bras (1 worn once, one not at all. Do not rush bra buying) and a sinister little brass demon thingy I found in the big shed.
Several egg boxes given to the market stall and a library book returned.

For a person who doesn’t lose things I have lost a lot recently. Started with a cross stitch card I was making for my son’s wedding a year ago. Because they had so many cancelled dates I put it in a safe place. I have had all my craft stuff out from under the stairs today and completely emptied both boxes and a vanity case. Nope. I then thought I could have put it in the bookcase. So all books off and dusted before being put back. Every drawer in the sitting room looked through. I have just thought maybe just maybe it could be in the file with patterns which is now safely back in the pantry. I thought I could finish it and give it as a new home card. I seem to remember it has a bird house and doves.Good idea Floss about the builders. They had a big tidy up last week before they left. The blooming trowel though I only used the day before yesterday. I remember putting it in front of the sentry box as I was just too tired and lazy to hang it up. I am compelled now to empty out all the piles of stuff for the tip.And as for my coat and TWO pairs of prescription glasses.Never mind. Worse things happen at sea.Vx
ps found the card!!!!!
Been through the tip stuff. Nope.:8 -
