Not much decluttering today, my back is the worst it's been for well over a year. Don't know why, not done any heavy work for days. Anyway a full recycling bin has gone out and I used reused a gift bag that I was given a gift in at my.....bridal shower. Over 20 years ago, they were quality bags! Can't remember what the gift was and I've divorced the husband.8

@Deni_debt-free_dreamer , so sorry to hear about your daughter, I do hope she is able to reach out for help, hugs to you and others struggling.
@wildrose, I hope your back feels abit better quickly, sounds very painful and exhausting , I did have to smile at your description of your gift back from your bridal shower
Went on the boris bikes for first time with friend encouraging me to do it for the last year, and now decided to try paddle boarding but realised the trainers I wouldn't mind getting wet I took to CS for recycling yesterday! I do have some other more flimpsy pumps which I never wear which I'm sure will be fine and will dry out better but it does make me wary of being too declutter happy!
OOD food out, and food used up. Mended storage box for DD2 . Thinks put aside for donation hub (only open sundays but didn't get there so will count next time).Abit more in my bedroom. Going to focus on kitchen to make easier to cook as not eating very well, and more on room.
Thank you for Mrs SD for my gold star... makes me feel abit more like I may get to my target.
Been listening to Tracey Mccubbin, a professional declutterer, an american - I found her podcasts helpful as focuses on the blocks. Not sure if anyone has heard of her? I hadn't until today.9 -
Not much decluttering today, trying to finish an application form. Have not applied for a job in a few years and finding it a bit stressful. I struggle selling myself, so a major frog for me. I have tomorrow to finish it so hoping for a quiet day workwise.
The sofa is being decluttered (was free to us so passing it on) tomorrow in preparation for our new one being delivered on Wednesday.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedSunday has been mostly sunny & warm but occasionally overcast & damp. DH went through options A, B, C, D to do a repair on the Harley - none of which worked ☹️ He has figured out an Option E & has ordered a new tool 🤞Apart from making risotto cakes for dinner, the only thing I did was make guacamole 😉 & watch TV including a bit of tennis. Wudupa.
1025 - 1026 Kitchen recycling & detritusYou are welcome GrannyKate 🙂 Great decluttering 👏 Visiting foxes like sausages 😉 Do we need to restock the bacon in the TLC Carriage?
Sorry to hear RL is busy & stressful Deni_debt-free_dreamer ☹️ Sending hugs to both you & DD1.
Great decluttering 👏 especially the chunk off your mortgage 🙂Excellent decluttering craftingmad 👏 especially biting the bullet & binning the beads 🙂Good work oceanspirit 👏 A novel way to declutter 😉
Lovely to see you accidentalglixch 👋 So sorry to hear that RL is treating you so badly ☹️ Sending positive vibes your way - the right job is out there & with your determination you will find it 🤞Hopefully you will get used to the lower dosage of medication & life will feel a bit easier 🤞 Great decluttering 👏Excellent work QueenJess 👏 From your description I can see what you mean about Maintenance Decluttering being harder than decluttering involving a constant re-evaluation 😔 Well done on your NSD 13/15 👏
Sorry to hear about your back Wildrose ☹️ Perhaps you slept awkwardly? DSis has ricked her neck by sleeping awkwardly & has been in pain all day 😔 That was definitely a quality gift bag 👏TC77, getting adventurous I see 😉 Boris bike, paddle boarding - what next, abseiling down the ArcelorMittal Orbit in the Olympic Park 😉 Great work on the decluttering 👏 Good luck with the kitchen tidying 🍀 & hopefully your appetite will improve. I am going to check out your recommendation of Tracy McCubbin 🙂
Good luck with the application form Fizz2015 🍀 Reading that ‘selling yourself’ is a struggle reminds me of me 😔 I never had a problem with listing my flaws 😉 but the light bulb came on eventually & I realised that rewording & looking at what I initially thought of as negatives, in a different way actually turned them into positives e.g. ‘pedantic’ turns into ‘great attention to detail’ 🙂MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Jumping back into this as I've been in my small barn this morning to fill up the bird feeders and stumble across a long-forgotten cardboard box. This, to my shame contained six packs of UHT milk, BB date 2016.
All emptied down the drain, all curdled and horrible.
I too am at the stage of getting rid of unwanted things as I go along. Yesterday I took a load to a CS, bedding and rubber ducks, and already I have a little pile of three more items for my next visit down south this week. On the flip side I'm accumulating stuff for my trip to Australia in August / Septembernew shoes, new dress, new knickers (I wear old ones when travelling and throw them away) new cardi (didn't have one). However, I shall be ruthless.
It's really enjoyable to read about everyone's progress, even baby steps count, it all motivates me.11 -
Demi good news that your daughter has been able to access some help. Here’s hoping she feels the benefit soon. X Also well done for your daughter not being wasteful and bringing stuff home. I was shocked when I went to collect DS from his first year in halls. People had emptied their room but left everything on the landing and outside. Shocking waste. Microwaves, kettles, toasters, TV’s, pots, pans, bedding etc etc etc.
So front garden almost done. Just a bit of patio and some rope top edge to put in. Then gravel. I started to plant up last night but midges beat me. Sadly the lads are off on another job tomorrow. Some mad fool is having an out door swimming pool made! In The Peak District ! Hardy souls.I have to do some cleaning this week. Building work makes such a lot of dust. Every thing just feels a bit grubby.❤️💕❤️ My 2 children and partners are coming to stay in a few weeks. They have offered to paint the sheds for me. I am hoping the weather is kind so all the step children can come up for a get together. ❤️💕❤️My to do list gets longer. I think I have used having builders as an excuse to watch telly and knit or sew for too long.Vx

Felt really motivated yesterday as I had a whole day off. Managed to also declutter:
10 more DVDs
1 CD box set
4 books
1 set of toiletries
1 dinosaur model
2 handful of old greetings cards
2 bits of random carp
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I can only apologise for the watery effects of my happy dance! Completely unintentional 😁
