Only decluttering today was a parcel posted and a bag ready to take to the cs next week.
To my surprise I'm really noticing a difference in my home and garden, all these little efforts are adding up. Still a long way to go but it doesn't seem so impossible now. This thread has made all the difference.10 -
Thanks @TC77, it’s taken about 7 years to get this far!
2537-8 Just two tomato plants with pots decluttered today. I had too many and so gave them to a neighbour.

One of the local venues is renting tables and booths in a couple of weeks time so I am aiming to sell off some of my difficult to post stuff. Only issue is I need to wait and see if friend with van is available that day.
Had to postpone electrician as I wasn't well but have given him dates and times for early next week.

ES, it could have been noro - I've had it twice now and the second time was off work for a week as I was completely wiped out & my body ached from the toxins.
I've managed to have my work decluttered for 3 weeks, due to fallout & consequences of someone's actions several years ago, delayed by Covid and exacerbated by me being worn out. It is an ugly obstacle that will be dealt with, with help from the staff support professionals at work. Anyway I'm off for 2 weeks plus a prebooked week of leave.
ETA this isn't work-related, it's nasty family stuff ☹2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

@QueenJess that's encouraging. Think my 4th year on the thread and decades of taking stuff to the CS but only in recent years stopped bringing so much in and became worse when built extension and my mum had died ( not linked).
Went through pillow cases , 1 I'm cs and 2 for animal shelter. Hoping to do more over the weekend.
Hoping everyone's keeping safe. X9 -
Hi all, very lazy day today, I seem to have agrivated an old shoulder injury but have found the tension bands given to me by the Physiotherapist and have done a few exercises so hoping that helps.
I have been through some paperwork for a union meeting tomorrow, first real meeting since pre covid so I am actually looking forward to it.
I have watered lovely neighbour's plants and typically just as I was climbing back over the fence the thunder rumbled and the heavens opened, thank goodness I had got the swim kits off the line before I started watering
Take care everyone7 -
Actually did some decluttering this morning - 1500 e-mails from drunk roommates account as he couldn't find what he needed. Had to cancel his online account with Social Security - we will need to go in person. They give you a list of 8 security numbers to use to log in to account - one at a time - but he keeps losing the list. Will have to go in person. Found three of female roommate's missing library books and returned them to the library - only 7 to go. While I was gone my roommate actually found two of them on her own. I am amazed. So hopefully we will find the remaining 5 this weekend. It is a holiday weekend here so we have three days before the library opens again. I finally got the husky to eat some chicken by sharing it with her - one bite for me - one larger one for her. She has refused ten varieties of dog food already. She does like Swiss cheese but she can't have much of that! May start trying more fruits and veggies - she likes carrots. Played outside with her this morning for about thirty minutes - good for both of us (while I put water in the pool). Watered the plants in the front yard also. One cat not feeling well today - both cats were sneezing earlier in the week. Outside cat isn't doing too well either but she is about 10 which is doing well for an outside cat. Her brother cat comes over and eats with her in the evening. Brings us small towels as a present. We don't know where he is getting them from. He has been stealing towels and shoelaces and other small items for almost his whole 10 years. We try to find where they came from but usually wash them up and give to charity when no one claims them. Thank you everyone for being here to support the rest of us. It is greatly appreciated.9

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedThe ‘back shortly post’ I actually wrote vanished into the ether 😖 So a quick bit of cheerleading first 😉Excellent work Wildrose 👏 Physical labour in the garden is one of the greatest forms of exercise &so satisfying 🙂 + it helps you to have a good night’s sleep 😉 My frogs are also mainly admin - if I don’t deal with something within a couple of weeks it can be years before I deal with it 😔 At the moment I have TWO of those 😭 Good luck with the Sashiko 🍀
teachergirl, yippee to experienced campers who know the true value - a great amount of money in the kitty 🙂 Your day may not have started well but it did improve & you discovered one of the traps of starting to declutter one room - it spills over into decluttering other areas 😉 Excellent work 👏 Nice to have your engagement ring back 🙂 even though 3 months seems a long time for the jewellers to have it 🤔 Very generous of you to give a radio to the Tip guy - 2 happy people - you as as an item decluttered & Tip guy now has music to help him through his day 🙂Excellent decluttering mhagster 👏
Good work TC77 👏 Hopefully you can find a few more bits to declutter rather than returning them to your study 🤞 Congratulations to DD2 & best wishes to her that she will enjoy her time volunteering 🙂
A successful day of washing & sorting out accommodation Liverpool_Anne 👏 I will pop round later for some rhubarb crumble 😉 Yah boo to sticky fingered person in the delivery chain 😠 but how nice that the seller was so reasonable & is sending you another pair of secateurs 🙂 Fingers crossed that she has insurance 🤞Thank you for sharing your experiences re decluttering your mum’s house 👏 It might have taken a while but you did it when you were ready.weenancy, a strange week but I would say a definite improvement on last week 🙂 Especially as one roommate is finally helping out 😉 Hopefully when he has finished the front yard he will help out in the back yard 🤞As to temper tantrum roommate - perhaps chuck a bucket of water over her - only joking 🙃 OR AM I 🤔 Well done on managing to get several things done despite the headache 👏 Enjoy your time in the TLC Carriage ☺️ you have definitely earned it 🤗
Will come back when I get up on Saturday & report on my Friday activity 😉Sleep tight everyoneMrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟
