Well I've been MIA for the last couple of days and have done pretty much no decluttering or organising at all. In my defence I've spent a few days researching and sorting out my pension, which was a huge frog to deal with. The research is all done now, so it's back to tidying and decluttering and trying to shorten my to do list considerably. Emails are out of control againDecluttering to declare:595 - 597 - packaging reused for buy nothing pick ups598 - 599 - digital notes deleted600 - 609 - digital photos deleted610 - 611 - bathroom products used up@Mrs_Salad_Dodger Have a fab time and make us all jealous telling us all about it when you are back2025 decluttering: 3,387🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Good morning fellow declutterers from an overcast but pleasantly warm L.A. 👋 Tuesday was a very tiring day 😪
The car taking us to the airport arrived early so loaded up, said our goodbyes to DSis & set off 10 minutes early. Traffic through London was horrendous - an hour & 10 minutes Isle of Dogs to Hammersmith flyover but swifter from there to airport. Check in was a breeze. Then had time to have a coffee & light snack + time for me to get a nicotine fix before going through security. Fairly straightforward although DH did set off the scanner due to the metalwork in his leg 😉 Then 1.5 hours of twiddling our thumbs before boarding. Comfortably wide seats & plenty of legroom so worth the extra cost to fly Premium Economy 🙂 Took off late but once in the air DH & I started to breathe easily 😉 I had to move seats as my TV wasn’t working & flights are my opportunity to see recent film releases - too mean to go to the cinema 😂 Only had 3 nicotine tabs (melt under the tongue) during the ten & a half hour flight, 2 tasty meals & plenty of water + watched Belfast & No Time To Die & had a few 20 minute naps. Got off the plane about 8:15 p.m. local time, fairly quick, easy & pain free immigration check, then the wait for our luggage. By this time we were flagging. Got a shuttle to the hotel just after 9.00 p.m., checked in, took our bags up, had a quick spruce up & were collapsed in the bar by 10.00 p.m. On my visits to the Smoking Area I met several interesting people & meanwhile DH got chatting to a chap in the bar - a surfer 😉 DH & I had only intended to have a couple of beers but ended up not going back to our room until just gone midnight 😱😔 We were both thoroughly exhausted & so slept well - bed is very comfortable.
Wednesday we woke up about 8:00 a.m. both rested but stiff although a shower & some moving around helped with that. Down to breakfast about 9:00 a.m. - full breakfast for DH, toast for me & lots of coffee and we are both feeling more human 👏🙂 I also bumped into a couple of last night’s smokers 😉
Now resting in our room & thanking our lucky stars that we are here 😅
I will be back in a while to cheerlead but thank you all for your good wishes for our holiday 👏
MrsSD 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Sounds like a good start to your hols MrsSD
A good busy day for me today. First went to friend to pick up paint for the tip as I am doing a tip run tomorrow.
Nipped to MrTs to drop off three bags of soft plastics but also bought some stuff for my holiday.
Popped into the CS to drop off a bag of books and some other stuff my friend had given me to dispose of.
Off to the allotment for some digging. progress is being made.
Up to another friend who wanted to know if I wanted some wood but also needed a chat. After a discussion she has just been to mine and took 3 bags of folders and stationary plus most of the paint for the Play and Recycling centre. I didn't take the wood.
Came home to find a printer we had sold on a local selling group had been picked up. Sadly parcelfarce didn't manage to pick up a second parcel to go. Maybe tomorrow
So 4 bags out plus 1larrge item and some in and outs.
Going to the tip to drop off some mixed waste, metals and electronics tomorrow.
Will pop in again to update.

Hi everyone
Room for one more? I have been suffering with my mental health since covid kicked off and over the last few months have started to feel like the house is closing in on me and have been hiding in the garden but with the cost of living going up and things around the house collecting dust, now seems the perfect time to have a clear out, donate, sell and just declutter my life in general! Not sure how many things to clear out but I’m hoping to start a planned house declutter and deep clean over the next two weeksTime to find me again12 -
Very little physical declutter, a pen, and a sock!
Frogs include new bank card signed up with oyster/Tfl, new bank card requested, chased up rat investigation for DD (rang council and they rang back advising what they had done and send pic to another department) and also return documents for uni placement uniform, expenses (v modest) submitted, bank frog , couple of calls for DD1 re PIP/support and school nurse for DD2 - lots of migraines. We're not a healthy lot at the moment but not serious. realise how absent minded I am when I come into the house and put down things (keys are usually ok) but purse and things in pockets taken out randomly! Ticking off frogs etc in my notepad as motivation.

Waiting up trying to get our large cat in from the torrential rain (no catflap) but going to give up.
Hugs to all those facing difficulties and hassle9 -

Had a great day today. Took two buses and the metro line - and got to have lunch with Mrs. S_D and Mr. S_D. Had a wonderful time. Will be tracking their trip and waiting to hear how it goes. Their first day (Friday) may be pretty hot - heading to Palm Springs where the temperature is expected to be about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Loved our meet-up. Never thought I would have the opportunity to meet anyone on the forum. Made it home via the town where my grandparents lived. It suddenly hit me that they had arrived there 101 years ago (and are still there as they are buried in the local cemetery). My father was born one hundred years ago there. All in all a terrific day - even if my 64 year old roommate still doesn't know how to wash the dishes on her own. That my next project.15
