So pleased the tests are negative.
Have a great holiday, Mrs SD, and just the thing for MrSD's health!
Out
1 pile dirt from garage
2 pairs of boots
1 pair espadrilles
15 books
1 very ood tube of cream to bin - vile smell
5 hankies and 6 undies from DH -he just got fed up picking them out of the drawer only to put them back in as he searched for decent ones.
1 cardigan
1 jumper
2 shirts
1 blouse
1 jacket
3 scarves
From the cardigan down, these were all "Jayger" vintage items that I tried to sell - in vain - so they are all off with the other items, apart from the dirt , of course, and DH,s stuff and the ood cream , to my favourite charity shop.
Total = 40 =178+40=218/365
Hugs for all in need of hugs and stay safe everyone.
MrsSD and DH, Bon voyage! And as the old Irish saying goes, May the wind be at your back!7 -
Hi all, just popping in to say have a great trip Mrs SD. I am still recovering from my trip to Wembley. I didn't get home until 2.45 on Sunday morning but it was worth it. Not much done except the washing but I have a union thing to do tomorrow so off to get some sleep now.
Take care everyone8 -

Have a wonderful holiday, MrsSd . Ours had to be cancelled but it’s a lovely sunny day and I’m going to give the floor a quick mop and hang out some washing .
I wish I was a person who could do the capsule wardrobe thing, I have many clothes in good condition and plenty of space to hang them. I always change when I’ve been out as I don’t want to wear nice things inside as I’m lethal with the bleach etc! 😜 and I do like having a good choice of what I wear, but like most people tend to wear the same things over and over. I know I shouldn’t save things for best but get the use out of them and I do with other things ,it’s just clothes!!Anyhow I’ve made an effort and dressed nice in readiness for my walk. Just need to be careful mopping😂Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.8 -
Yay to negative tests. Have a fabulous holiday/adventure Mr & Mrs SD.
Been focussing on using my precious energy to eat healthily rather than declutter recently however I have an unwanted visitor in my bedroom which takes chunks out of me at night! Not funny. So a further decluttering session of the surfaces plus lots of vacuuming and other cleaning to try to get rid of whatever it is.
OH has offered to help tomorrow so plan to get more decluttering done whilst he cleans. I am wanting to get rid of filing cabinet so cod can be moved from inside wardrobe into its place, freeing up wardrobe space for shoes to be moved out of little bedroom. Also spare bedding is in very dusty plastic sacks beside cod so it would be good to get some shelving in so it can be stored better.

Monday was a lovely sunny day - mostly 😉 It was also a very stressful but productive day. Bus & tube to PCR Testing Centre, arrived early but got seen within 5 minutes 🙂 Joy of joys just nostrils swab 🥳 We were out on the street before our booked testing time. Tube to Canary Wharf, picked up some more US $, bus home & back indoors 2hrs 5 minutes after setting off. Then the waiting began 😱 However, we checked our suitcases contents, updated the address tags & zip tied the locks We have 3 suitcases, a rucksack each and our 2 motorcycle jackets (to be worn to board plane as they are very bulky. Then the real waiting game began, the stress built & finally less than 6 hours later we received our test results - both NEGATIVE. The relief was palpable & DH almost cried with relief 😮💨 He then had the time consuming & annoying task of filling in the airline notification of negative test results. More waiting, more stress until an hour later when airline confirmed we were OK to fly. Another collective sigh of relief 😮💨 Dinner was sausages, mash, baked beans & plum tomatoes. Wudupa.
Tuesday is a gloriously sunny & very warm day. Now the stress of waiting for car to airport, then the interminable waiting at the airport once check in & security have been tackled. I remember the days when the excitement of going on holiday outweighed the stress of things going wrong 😢 Everything ready, paperwork & money all checked AGAIN & now just the waiting & stress 😌

So glad the tests were negative! Covid continues to have a knock on effect in all sorts of areas - you really didn't need the added stress, but are hopefully through it now. Hope the holiday's everything you've been hoping and more.DD had an appointment with the chiropractor (for her neck and shoulder) and he says the accident didn't help, but she's OK. That was my biggest worry. I've been a bit sore, but nothing major. I didn't get any decluttering done yesterday, though. I seemed to spend all day dealing with insurance companies, car hire people, car repair people and solicitors. Who knew it could all get so complicated? Thank goodness it's absolutely clear there was no way I could be at fault! Imagine the hoo-ha!
