1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Thursday’s dinner was takeaway fish’n’chips. Wudupa.
Friday started dull but quickly changed to a very pleasant day - sunny & warmish. Spent some time sorting out more paperwork; transposed a couple more recipes to notebook; washed hairbrushes & comb; updated menu plan to Monday night inclusive; wrote shopping list; went to sm. Dinner was chicken & mushroom risotto. Wudupa.
Saturday has been a gloriously warm & sunny day ☀️ Guess what though - everything that was dealt with was indoors 🙄 Made a leek & potato soup; All the remaining vegetables from the fridge & larder have been peeled, chopped, boxed, labelled & put in freezer (so much for defrosting 😉); DH & I thinned out our holiday clothes a little - probably a bag for life’s worth 😉. DH has treated us to Premium Economy - more leg room & two 23kg suitcases each for the hold (92kg in total 😱) + one hand luggage each. Although we are taking our crash helmets they will not be coming back with us (mine is years & years old 😉) We have packed two large suitcases with all our biking gear & evening wear & it comes to about 30kg; a third smaller suitcase - hand luggage size - is being packed with electrical stuff, cables, adaptors, wash bag & camera equipment. We will each have a rucksack which will have books, iPads, cleansing tissues, small wash bag with toothbrushes, mini toothpaste etc, sweeties etc - an 11 hour flight means I have also bought some nicotine lozenges 😉 so I do not end up killing anyone 😉😉. We will gather together all the paperwork, money etc together & check & recheck before Tuesday a.m. when we leave the house - car to airport Provided we are both test negative 🤞🤞🤞🤞 Dinner tonight is hm cottage pie with peas.
Back shortly as dinner is almost ready. Back again 🙂 The cottage pie was delicious. I will wash up later as tonight is Eurovision Song Contest 😁

A few bits naturally used up today and I also rifled through the bathroom as it is a bit too jam packed in there and I know I will never get round to using it all. Everything finds a new home so nothing gets binned. I opened a number of other drawers, but just couldn’t find a single thing to declutter in there.. just shows I am at the maintenance stage. Can’t let up though as kids are forever bringing in new things (mostly through parties and family…).
Going out for the day sort of took DD’s mind off teething, but she was still a bit silly and clingy. DS was moany the whole time as well, so sadly not enjoyable. We will try something else tomorrow as they definitely prefer being entertained and get a bit stir crazy at home all the time.Decluttered items:

Back yesterday from a week away with friends in Cheshire. Had a great time and very relaxed by the time I came home.
Nothing done apart from a haircut and CS this afternoon.
No news from the plot comittee who were inspecting the plot while I was away. I hope that they wonb't ever have to bother me again but I may have just not had the email yet.
I have just under two weeks before I go off to Canada so need to pull out my finger to finish my planting and clearing in the home garden and plot plus a load of other things so may not be in much.

Ah it's okay. I just wish I never left my old job. Works really put the icing on the cake 2 months ago I was told 3 times that I'm going to get a call for occupational health and then today when I asked temporary team leader told me "you don't need one" So I had to go through an agent support person to arrange a call with someone else on Monday to see if I need one or not.
But thank you with the kind words - I'm trying to focus on making this house our dream home.
Counting down for 24th & 25th May, as I have these days booked off (Finally after asking for 2 months since it was in my contract)
24th is my birthday and I'm meeting my mum for a Coffee and hopefully a little nose around town. Which is a welcome as my hubs usually begs me not to go out because of COVID but he said it's fine as he's working anyway (New job, short notice and no plans i just wanted the day off ... cheeky i know!)
🧼 Decluttering I did this week (so far)🧼
#64 - Kitchen tidy that just gets in the way and sadly too gross to give away
#65 - Old bottle of mouthwash that i forgot about
#66 - Some ill-fitting clothes, some still new that were given to my sister
#67 - 2 empty bottles of cleaning products in reycle
#68 - Still good cleaning products given to my mum
#69 - More photos & files cleared from my laptop & ones I wanted to keep organised in properly named files
Husband also dug out a handful of weeds but got too hot so told him to leave it for another cooler day.
🧺Organising the house🧺
I'll start a new list to keep track... be good to see an actual record!
#1 - Remi's poop bags, Treats for Kong toy, Gloves & cotton wool pads are in seperate storage containers, making th cupboard more accessable
#2 - Remi's cupboard sorted
#3 - Purchased a huge long box from Asda yesterday to store all the little garden equitment in to make it easier to find
#4 - All my hearing aid maintence stuff in a 'lunch box' to keep everything together and away from Remi
#5 - A grey 3-draw tower understairs for Remi's treats/Bathing stuff/Cleaning cloths just for him (was sick a lot as a pup so didn't want to cross-contaminate)
#6 - My desk shelf
#7 - Emptied a carrier bag of stuff for the bathroom
#8 - Got fed up of toilet rolls falling out of the storage cupboard so I found a perfect sized storage box and housed them all in there
#9 - Emptied a bag of washing , 1 bag left to go of bathroom stuff/duvets and towels
#10 - Slowly emptying one junk bag ...

@Mrs SD - sounds as if you are well prepared for your trip!
@stellata that's good news about the understairs cupboard.
Took 4 plates and 2 platters - funky vintage crockery which I love and collected more of, got rid of some and then decided need to pass on as not easy to stack - fish shaped. Took to boutique style CS in blackheath and a walk with a friend. Had to get out of CS quickly before I took back. Neither DD like the plates so no reason to keep and will try and use other of my store of crockery.
CS bag taken to more local CS and added a couple of things.
Sorted through market trawl (soft fruit needs sorting with some immediately out)
Email frog done
Decided to get rid of GCSE study guides but can't find at the moment!
Bit of paper decluttering
Broken vacuum bit out
Finally sent copy of my dad's service to one of my mum's cousins
2 routers out
Resisted things in CS yesterday and today
packaging x 2

Sounds like you had a lovely trip GrannyKate 🙂 and a real bonus finding a fellow family history enthusiast - your new favourite nephew 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏 so enjoy your time in the TLC Carriage - you have earned it 🙂
roundtuit, the coffee table doesn’t really count as an ‘in’ - just a replacement for the one that went walkabout 😂 Well done on all the decluttering that has taken place in order to create floor space 👏
QueenJess, Sorry to hear that DD is still suffering with her teething ☹️ Excellent decluttering of digital files 👏 A great result on being able to donate little plastic toys & well done to your DS - one medal 🏅 coming his way 👏 Now that he is inaugurated into the Decluttering Club, training can begin on budgeting, meal planning & cooking 🙃😉 - I am joking 🙃 Well done on creative use of foodstuffs 👏 I hope there are a few flapjacks in the TLC Carriage for testing purposes of course 😉 Keep up the good work in the room of doom & kitchen. Your decluttering numbers mean that a Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 👏
Great decluttering TC77 👏 Many people both young & old seem to think it cool that anyone over 25 rides or is a pillion 😉 either that or they think we are mad 😜 & should grow up & buy a car 🤣 Interrailing sounds like a great adventure to look forward to 🙂 Perhaps you can set aside any cash raised from sales of decluttered items - it would be a great incentive 😄 I can just see you with your rucksack gallivanting (love that word as it conjures up a joyous life 🙂) around Europe 😃Sunshine is so invigorating EnergyShifter 🙂 Great work on the shed smashing 👏 - old fashioned physical labour which is helping with your sleep 🙂 Perhaps when you have finished with your shed, you can hire yourself out 😉
florianatwobob what an accommodating/sensible company you work for 🙂 They seem to realise that a happy worker = a productive worker - who knew 🙄 Good work on the shed tidying 👏 & fingers crossed that the items go ‘the easy way’ 🤞

Morning All,
OH declutterd Sofa and coffee table to a friend in need. Also having a nest of side tables. Not sure what else they need, have asked the question.
Had a bbq yesterday with in-laws so garden got a quick tidy with items recycled/binned or put away and garden swept.
Started on decluttering the ironing pile. I still have a way to go!
House still looks a mess, so trying to work through the piles steadily, sort and tidy up and put in it's right place. Today's focus is the living room (ironing pile and toy's which are all in a pile in the corner but need sorting and tidying).
DD has a party to attend later then OH and I off to a stretch class and swim at the gym.
