And for finding a home for the fleeces, it was a pet hate of mine when dd2 left things on the newel post and they never got taken up stairs!Have a wonderful holiday .Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.11

Yesterday I really struggled to motivate myself to do anything at all. I had words with myself at lunch time and then made a rhubarb and apple crumble, tidied the fridge a bit to fit in the veg box contents, general tidying round the house, made a call to sort something out, changed the beds, did 2 loads of washing and hit some gardening.
Not much time for decluttering and I’m really starting to struggle now! I keep saying that though and then I find more stuff to get rid of… I think it’s because I have way less stuff than I used to and it’s now fine, although secretly I would like a bit less. It’s definitely more challenging, but if I don’t use it in reality it does need to go.
I popped to the garden centre and was offered a free trowel with my purchase. I don’t need one - mine is fine and I definitely don’t need two. I did accept it though as I thought with the uptake in grow your own and the food prices, someone will snap it up. I took it and put it on my buy nothing site and it was snapped up. Impressed I wasn’t the least bit tempted to keep it as it was free.
Anyway, 2 more things gone:567 - box not needed
568 - shorts that are too small
Must rush as I have a picnic to make. Off out all day partly to distract DD from her teeth.2025 decluttering: 3,452🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

I'm laughing at myself this morning because I was bemoaning the lack of space in my hall cupboard. It's full of absolute bobbins. There's 12 empty coffee tins in there! And about 100 jars. I've always collected that sort of thing but honestly 3 of each will do so the rest are in the recycling bin. And I can get the vac in the cupboard now. Why do I do this?Magnolia Stellata15

2159-2161: 50 emails and 1GB data deleted.
2162-2201: 40 items to recycling or rubbish with more to go.
Decluttering a lot of over the counter remedies and even a couple of Covid tests due to sinus issues.
2202-2227: another 25 items to the bin and the recycling.
I haven't included the red tailed bumble bee that needed a bit of persuasion to leave through the wide open window 😉
Also, still cracking on with the no spend days.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I've recovered my GUAG finally. Today I've been sorting out craft supplies and binned a load of stuff which is no longer any use. I've also deleted more emails and documents from the PC, still got loads left to do though!
712. Last week’s papers recycled
713-719. 7 day’s kitchen recycling
720. Junk mail recycled
721. Cardboard packaging recycled
722-731. Craft stuff binned – u/up or no longer any use
732-733. 500 emails deleted
734. Documents deleted from PC
Hope everyone's enjoying the lovely weather.

A productive day, mostly. An early (9.30am) arrival of the supermarket delivery did necessitate me prizing myself from my bed earlier than my body wanted however seeing as I was dressed and we’d put everything away we commenced ‘Operation Shed’.Halfway through ‘Operation Shed’ I did turn to DSis and ask ‘Do you think you get to the stage in decluttering where you just can’t make a decision anymore?’ She replied that she thinks we’ve reached that point. To be honest we’ve moved/ rehomed/ recycled a lot over the past few years and we’re now down to the long stayers, sentimental, Christmas deccies and stuff that should be returning to the house once the ongoing programme of work is completed. etc.
I am also having a rare bout of stubbornness. DBro recently decided in his wisdom to replace the lawnmower and hedge trimmer. The originals are still perfectly good and operational and I’m currently putting my foot down and refusing to find them new homes. He wanted new ones, he can get rid of the old ones. I’m being stubborn because I’ve had enough of rehoming stuff that he’s got bored with. Unfortunately this means that the old ones are still in the shed.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)
