Our house is bursting at the seams right now! Husband has offered our garage as storage space to a colleague who is renovating their house; it's supposed to be just 4 weeks, but I think it will be longer. The colleague came yesterday to pick up some unwieldy items (stroller incl baby carrier...); husband has told him he has to remove everything 25 April. Then, husband went to our hometown (4-hr drive) to pick up items his sister had collected for their relatives in their African country; a carload and a trailer full. He will fill up a seacontainer and ship (literally) it end of April. It'll feel like a pustule has burst! In the meantime, I'm trying to empty the house of surplus matter that can't go to Africa, because our own renovation is due to start half May.....Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5911

Guiltily slinking back into the thread ... it's been quite a while! Life took over for a bit and decluttering fell by the wayside but I'm back again today

Thanks for the welcome, Mrs SD, appreciated.
Attic paperwork sorting has recommenced; 12 items shredded from my 500 goal.9 -
1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedTuesday has been a dull, dreary day but dry & chilly. Wrote a shopping list intending to go to MrA but ended up not bothering 😔 Cleared down more programmes from TV planner. DH & I finished the hm soup for lunch. DH’s shingles rash is getting worse + rush now all over his palm but not a mark on the top of his hand or on the inner part of his forearm 🤔 His arm still aches but has been slightly relieved by using a sling which arrived this morning & the judicious use of parrots + lots of sleep. Dinner was breadcrumbed chicken, mash, sweetcorn & peas. Anyhoo - I'm back - proud to report the house is still tidy and client notes up to date - invoices done on time.... Bins are being emptied today so I'm hoping to get rid of some of the garden rubbish later. I've been keeping up with posts and its been lovely to read about everyone's progress

Just a quick message of support energy shifter. You are managing so much better than you think. Well done for realising that you need some support so that you can keep supporting DS.Vx:12

Sending hugs @EnergyShifter, you've been your DS's rock all this time, it's time someone else helps now & you look after yourself a bit. You can't look after others if you're not well yourself. You should be proud of all you've done so far & also that you've realised you need help yourselfUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

We found out yesterday that our house move completion date is in less than 3 weeks!
I am going to use up the food I have in glass storage jars and then donate them as they will be a pain to move. I'm batch cooking an ackee, rice, peas and kidney bean hash today.
I told my husband to take the tins of spaghetti hoops to work to store there as he often wants spaghetti on toast for lunch at work. We have about 8 cans of them!
I found a loo unblocker thing yesterday in my airing cupboard. I put it in the garden boxes. I think I will put all my cleaning stuff/mop/vacuum etc... in the garden boxes to travel to the new house.2025 GOALS

Morning All, I am on leave and not back in work until Monday! Very lucky to have a fantastic line manager who was very supportive when I asked for leave and a team who will hold the fort.
I worked from home whilst I had covid a couple weeks back when I should have taken leave and now I am exhausted and just feel overwhelmed. Rest and pottering will help me work through the messy house and decluttering to get some order back. I think this will help with my overall wellbeing, mess and clutter is actually stressful now and I appreciate the benefits decluttering and a tidy (lived in) home brings. Off to make a start on the ironing so we can use the other sofa again!10 -
Well I got my sold items out yesterday and then establish the bay has paid into an old bank account. That's my silly frog to sort out. A start at moving stuff with some financial rewards for the effort too. Need to find some more items (there are plenty!!) I'll look for 3 today to photo and take it from there.
I should really be getting dressed so I can crack on with getting myself warm by doing some housework. I'll save the ironing for later as it will warm the back bedroom we sit and eat in during the day as its not a sunny day to do it for free.
