1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedFriday was a dry day but dull & chilly. DSis had another trip out - to buy 75mg Aspirin. DH filled the bird feeders. I spent the day catching up on the Winter Olympics & clearing down a few more programmes from the TV planner. We were going to have brisket for dinner but I put it in the oven too late - would have meant eating about 9:30 p.m. 😱 So dinner was m*s lasagne & garlic bread followed by trifle - courtesy of my DSis. My DSis also bought me flowers - opened white roses & unopened red carnations with a decent amount of gypsum. To top off her generosity & thoughtfulness she also bought me one of those defrosting boards which doubles as a chopping board + has a knife sharpener & a small section for grating 🥳
Yesterday there was a very lovely tribute to M - she was a prolific knitter so there are now several pictures of her SIX great grandchildren all wearing jumpers that M had knitted 🙂 What is so lovely is that the family are still making memories of M ☺️Saturday is a bright sunny day but with a very chill breeze. What has brought a smile to my face is that I can see the moon in a practically clear blue sky 🙂 I am currently watching a recording of the Mens 500m Speed skating. Tonight I will finish cooking the brisket - needs about 45 minutes - uncovered.221 - 224 Kitchen recycling, plastic bottle, newspaper, cardboard packaging - recycled
225 Kitchen detritus binnedWhat a brilliant idea Siebrie - rotating toys but keeping crafting materials permanently available 👏
GrannyKate, lining pads & tissues are the bane of our lives when it comes to washing 😱 Somehow, regardless of how careful I am in emptying pockets about 1 in 6 washes end up with me having to fish out bits of tissue, check the trap & run a drum clean 😔 but then again it keeps the wm in tiptop condition 🌈 & I get a bit of exercise with the vigorous shaking out of the clothing 😉 However your day improved - no tax owed is a lovely feeling especially as you had set aside the money 👏Well done Baxtersmum - decluttering & earning 👏
Excellent decluttering donna73 👏 Very pleased to hear that your decluttering is having such a positive effect on freeing up your creative juices 🙂Thank you for your kind thoughts Deni_debt-free_dreamer.

Congratulations to DD2 - a new adventure as a home owner 👏 Hope MrV is very successful with his listings 🤞It might be a dolls house But it at least it is a decluttered dolls house 😉🙂GrannyKate your comment about having lots of space brought a huge smile 😃 to my face. You are reaping the benefits of your decluttering campaign 👏Love it EnergyShifter - therapeutic wood sawing 😂 Very good news about your DS - I will keep him in my thoughts and trust that with your support he will continue to do well 🙂Excellent decluttering 👏
Excellent work on reorganising your finances bit_by_bit 👏 a positive use of clearer headspace & deserving of a Gold Star ⭐️ which is on its way 🙂 Such a positive post - therapeutic rock smashing, plans afoot for garage decluttering including decluttering DD’s furniture + creating a new sleeping area for visitors. All the hard work that you & DH are putting in is paying dividends 👏🙂 As to DH carrying out your secret plans are you sure he is not psychic 😉 one medal 🏅 coming his way 🙂Well done that man, Liverpool_Anne 🙂 Shame he came back for the WD40 😉😉 I have definitely noticed that teabags only seem to be available in small boxes - I keep looking for the bag of 480 YT as I finished my last bag a couple of weeks ago 😞
Great work EnergyShifter 👏
Excellent kitchen decluttering GrannyKate 👏 I hope you can keep the shelf empty for a while 😉 before using it 🙂 I can remember how inordinately happy I am when I manage to create an empty shelf 😂 Lovely division of labour planned for Monday 😉
charlies_tribe, naturist dolls brought a huge smile to my face 😃 Good luck with the selling 🍀 Hopefully DD2’s assessment will happen quickly 🤞 Great work on washing all the items for CS bags, fingers crossed everything dries quickly & can be folded, bagged & delivered to the CS 🤞I imagine that will create a lot of space 👏 As to the wellies - the school will be really happy to receive them 🙂 Oh wow - DD3 asking to tidy her bedroom 🤩 she has earned a medal 🏅. Hopefully she has noticed how happy you are with tidier areas & she has caught the decluttering bug 😉 Excellent kitchen decluttering 👏
Blackberrycurved, I think the clutter gremlins move in when you are out 😉 Sorry to hear that you have a bad back - please try to give yourself a lot of TLC 🙏 What a lovely perceptive daughter you have ☺️ What a lovely sentiment “people live in our hearts not in piles of photographs” - I have taken the liberty of copying that into my Decluttering Notebook & hopefully it will make it easier when I next tackle photo decluttering 🤞 Excellent work on sorting out 2 frogs 👏 Good luck with the dining room 🍀
Great decluttering short_bird 👏 Pleased to hear the antibiotics are working 🙂
Excellent decluttering marrob 👏 It will absolutely be worth all the hard work ☺️ - you will have a tidy, clutter free & restful home & will feel happy to invite people round 😉 I am especially impressed with the chair pads & the excellent weight loss 👏See you all later 👋MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Hi all hope everyone is keeping well.
So sorry to hear of your loss @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. It sounds like you lost a wonderful family member ❤
I've had a rough few weeks. Illnesses have flared up big time and a cold on top. Yuck!
I've been trying to keep going with small tasks though I've not written anything down so not sure where I am at numbers wise. Still progress is progress.
I have sorted through all the craft and stationery today. If I never buy another pen or notebook in my life it will be too soon! Hundreds of run out pens and split pencils/crayons to bin. Hundreds more to send to school and what has been left has been sorted into nice pen pots on the desk so they are all easily accessible and hopefully will get used.
I am officially declaring me and DD (10) on a stationery ban!
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.9 -
Hello, this thread moves fast!
Has a couple days off work and my mum staying, she kindly cleaned all our carpets as had a new carpet cleaner. She is retired and has more energy than me!
Actually got decluttering done too - 4 big bags of clothes to charity shop. My mum took home 2 bin bags of clothes for nieces and a load of books. Gave away our old kitchen blind. Got a boot full of stuff to give to a work colleague and a baby charity.
Also been out for SD's birthday meal, made a lot of cakes and a b'day cake for DD birthday.
I will be bringing 2 pieces of furniture into the house, courtesy of f*cebk and free. A sideboard and cupboard, hopefully rearrange the lounge and dining room. Can hide my workpapers, DD's craft stuff and toys.
Hope you all have a nice weekend. 😊9 -
I've done enough today but if I can do the same tomorrow in my living room I feel I'm making headway. Upstairs still dire. `Hope
you can see which is before and which is after x

Car home and has been running for three days now. Best it's done since mid-December. No one else up before noon today except for one male roommate who got up and made me scones and bacon for breakfast and then went back to bed. Managed to clear out 647 e-mails this morning. About half of them I had to read first, the others should have been deleted ages ago. Did the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen as best as possible. Other male roommate doing his "big cooking" thing for tomorrow's Super Bowl game. So I will probably need to redo kitchen again on Monday from top to bottom. As far as I know there will only be 6 of us for tomorrow's Game Party - but you can never tell. He has brought in enough food for at least ten or more - we will be eating leftovers all week. Taking things one day at a time.12

Saturday has been another day of watching the Olympics & clearing down programmes from the TV planner 😉 Finished cooking the brisket which we had with mashed potatoes & mixed country vegetables (from the freezer) I now have 1.75 empty drawers 🙂 The brisket was delicious & I have a small amount left together with some vegetables & mash & gravy so will make a small pie.226 - 227 Kitchen recycling & detritus

29 More old paperwork sorted and recycled
30 More packaging thrown out31 Oven cleaner found at back of the cupboard used up and put in recycling.
Like Mrs salad Dodger I have also made a promise to myself to leave the kitchen clean and tidy every night. It certainly helps my mood to walk into a nice fresh kitchen.
I am also going to adopt Frog Friday if that’s ok. I have too many things that I keep putting off I am going to try to deal with one a week.
