Hi chums.Lots of good advice and support aplenty here. What nice people you all are.I was pleased to hear that your SIL had choice in her final days Mrs SD. Best wishes to you and all the family. Xx
I am still on my phone and it is epic to write a post so you are all spared atm!
MIL is very poorly but thankfully still at home. She is very confused now which is upsetting for Mr V. I am being as supportive as I can be.Today Dd2 finally gets the keys to her house. Lots has left here and is winging its way to Nottingham as we speak. I will only count items that we are giving her not all the stuff that we were storing.
Mr V has listed things for sale that he was given a few weeks ago. I won’t count as they were never going to be permanent residents. Sales will buy new tyres for the car. The rest D I Y.
The roofer is awol but no rush. We do still have a roof btw.Today I am cleaning. It doesn’t take long at all in my tiny doll’s house.Take care all

Cracking on with the kitchen including moving some stuff round. I love having plenty of space to make easy decisions on where things should live.

264 Very small extra chopping board which has no use
265 Condiment sets refilled from refills and the empty pots recycled
266 Cookbooks x 5 to CS bag
267 Bread bin to CS bag - I've never liked it since I bought it

460. Physio 5/14
461. Booked gardener
462. Chair (left outside - if no one takes it - I'll take it to CS)
463. Scrap wood from garden
DS is coming off his meds - he stopped taking them at the beginning of the week and is doing well so far. He's been reducing over recent months and doing well but we know this bit will be challenging and that physical withdrawal is likely to kick in about 3 weeks in when the meds have left his system. I keep worrying about the future instead of appreciating the fact that he is doing well right now. But the fact is right now he is doing well - he seems better than he's been in such a long time. I'll just keep praying...
464. Sawed and binned lots of wood from garden - an old climbing frame
465. Old plunger
466. Holey socks (DS)
467. Helped DS sign up for gym
468. Chew toy back to neighbours dogs (assuming a fox brought it into our garden - our cat is not that brave)
469. Physio 6/12 (realised its not 14 as I thought as I'm meant to have a rest day once a week.
470. Jar of pasta sauce to food bank (didn't realise it had meat in it)

Sorry to hear about your MiL vulpix. Distance in this case is just a pain and very tough.
I have been reorganising my finances to take advantage of any savings opportunities. First time I have had head space for this for a while. I am planning for a lot of holidays in the next three years so have to be on the ball. Another big Friday frog sorted.
I have been over the allotment today decluttering a fun job. Smashing old bricks and concrete for hardcore for my sitting area base. I. had to stop as it was getting dark but this job should be finished by next week. Very therapeutic though
Over the weekend DH wants to do some decluttering in the garage so we can get wood inside that we got last week. it is covered in plastic but it is still bothering hiim. The weather looks like it is against us.
I was going to do the garage on Monday as suprise for him as he is away for the day with work. The first time in an absolute age. It fits in with my plans to decluttter DD furniture to the van for when she moves and put up a daybed in the craft room to replace a large set of drawers which she is taking with her. It will be an extra guest room for family visitors that come in fours as a rule.
He also wants to trim MiL cherrry tree Saturday. Even the Cherry tree trimming is useful as I need to more infil for the fence on the allotment that I put in last week. All good recycling, reusing and sorting out.
Little does he know he is carrying out my secret plans for me, lolTo be fair DH would do anything I ask but he and I have very different ways of working so I tend to do stuff on my own.

Hi all,
Window man came yesterday rather than todayso I was much happier going to bed last night with my usual window open so money decluttered. He left a can of wd40 on the window sill and has just called to collect it
Another load of washing in the machine but it is looking a bit drizzly today so it will have to be dried on the maiden. I need to pop to the sm for tea bags, has anyone else noticed how they only seem to have small boxes these days?
Take care everyone10 -

Thank you Mrs SD, will definitely look at selling any she doesn't want but we seem to be lacking in clothes for some reason, almost every doll is naked! 🤣 DD2 did take some monster high dolls back upstairs but we did well to bag the rest up.
Siebrie, thank you, the girls are 12 and 13 (14 on Sunday) and have all their things in their rooms but these are boxes from the unit that have been gone at least 2 years and they had never asked about them. DD2 is waiting for an assessment but she's a massive hoarder and will keep absolutely everything if given the chance.
Yesterday I started in the kitchen and started giving it a good clean. The washing machine was on none stop working through the piles in the utility room. This was all washed at some point for the charity bags but then just stayed there collecting dust and dog fur, it wasn't actually mucky washing, promise.
I then went through 2 more boxes from the unit last night while dh was at work. 2 huge boxes of shoes! I realise it's not just DD2 with a hoarding problem. 14 pairs of shoes to go and 14 pairs of wellies! 1 pair might fit DD2 but the rest are all way too small. Going to wash them as they're really dusty, see if my sister wants any for her tribe and then the rest may go down to school as they're always after wellies.
This morning DD3 asked to tidy her bedroom! So wasn't saying no. Done an hour in there, still so much rubbish coming out but its looking so much better now. Just having a cup of tea while watching the Olympics and then I'll get back to the kitchen cleaning.

Why does someone who lives alone and works a million hours have so much rubbish? It's not like I'm here 24/7 making a mess. Right I've had a bad back for weeks and now cleaning seems massive and it really shouldn't be if I get rid of stuff. My daughter at Christmas seemed not that interested in all the sentimental stuff I was keeping for her which is a heads up. She said people live in our hearts not in piles of photographs. I am going in no more bits and drabs.
1. Just got a milkman so decluttered the stress of running out of milk, the glass bottles are recycled, the milk tastes better in the glass and I can cancel or change the order whenever on my phone. Plus he does yoghurts.
2. Done an Iceland order. I try not to buy much from the supermarket mainly cat litter and food and frozen fruit as I have a butchers, green grocers, fish shop close. Iceland don't use palm oil so doing my bit for the Rain Forest so decluttered another stress. Bought enough cat food for a month.
