Work today so no actual decluttering. I've managed to keep up with my client notes and keep the house tidy though which feels good. The Gardener was meant to come today to clear my garden but the poor guy has Covid. Early start tomorrow as I need to go for my Mammogram at 8am. I haven't had to get anywhere that early for a very long time.
Had to adjust my numbers as I've retrieved a couple of DS' T.Shirts from the CS bag as he said he wanted to keep them...

Decluttered one job that had been hanging around.Today we wood filler-ed and sanded back some skirting boards ahead of repainting. We also undercoated the new wood work and filled in the gaps between the old plaster and the new skirting. It will need a gentle sand once the filler has ‘gone off’ but I’ve done a pretty tidy job. Before all of that happened DSis and I had 45 mins of trying to get the shed door open. The lock had stuck…..it was only when I was a third of the way through taking the door off its hinges that it decided to unstick itself. We think that it had ‘given’ enough to unstick itself.Unfortunately the screwdrivers, WD40 etc were locked in the shed so this was all achieved with a Swiss Army knife……
We’ve now brought the screwdrivers and a baby can of WD40 into the house ‘just in case. Looks like fixing the door may need to be added to the list of ‘things to do’.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Thank you for the medal Mrs SD. I like the small Swar figures but you don't see them much now. My sister bought me a tiny pram when GS1 was born - he's nearly 17 now and I also have a tiny quill and ink pot that late DH bought when I had a story published in national magazine. Small people until lunch and then I have history group. Need to pack for trip away tomorrow with GCs. Almost finished kitchen deep sort/clean. I have moved a few things round which I am happy with although have to remember that when I go to get things from cupboard. Found a few things which I didn't expect. Cooker will have to wait until I get back from my trip away.

Thank you Mrs SD she was super pleased with her medal. She carried on after I left and cleared her desk and brought down another bag of rubbish.
Sunday we managed nothing, I couldn't stay awake and kept napping on the sofa, did delete some emails between napping.
Managed a little more yesterday. 10 minutes in pantry and half hour in pantry. Had to stop as DH had told me off for filling the bin jammed packed to the top. It's being emptied today so can start again.

@Mrs SD, a dollop of Worcestershire sauce is something I have added to soup if it is a bit bland. It is something that can be added in after the soup is cooked in whatever quantity you like, just gives a warm taste iykwIm10

@MrsSD I’m assuming it’s too thin? Maybe add some chunks of potato to blitz to thicken? Or leave whole chunks if you want “lumps” or Pasta . Sometimes it’s hard to put your finger on what’s missing 😳😋Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.10

2Scratters said:Hi Peeps,
hope all are well and lots of stuff being moved out. @Baxtersmum re the postage your buyer should be paying for the postage not yourself which helps with the pennies coming back in.
2Scratters xx
eDay now deduct fees at their end rather than PayPal and if you add on postage to the listing they also take a percentage of that too so for example if something sells for 10p and it’s £3.20 postage they just pay you £2.84 which is a complete swizz, I’m trying to work a way round it so they don’t take a proportion of the postage, maybe put the postage higher to recover the deduction or ask in the description that postage be paid via PayPal - any ideas welcome 🙏Decluttering Campaign Member -179/2023

- 1 item sold from eDay posted
- 5 small things to the charity shop after failing to sell
- 1 dog lead attachment in the bin (really can’t find a purpose for it)
Also 1 cheese pasty didn’t make it through until lunchtime, I’m both proud and slightly ashamed 😉Decluttering Campaign Member -179/2023
