hope all are well and lots of stuff being moved out. @Baxtersmum re the postage your buyer should be paying for the postage not yourself which helps with the pennies coming back in.
2Scratters xx
eDay now deduct fees at their end rather than PayPal and if you add on postage to the listing they also take a percentage of that too so for example if something sells for 10p and it’s £3.20 postage they just pay you £2.84 which is a complete swizz, I’m trying to work a way round it so they don’t take a proportion of the postage, maybe put the postage higher to recover the deduction or ask in the description that postage be paid via PayPal - any ideas welcome 🙏
I am selling my old books but a lot are now going the way of the charity shop as I can't make any money. After all I am up against the bigboys as well as other sellers. Managed to get three bags of food decluttered to someone who need it yesterday. The hard way - the friend bringing her over to get the food had a big accident on the way here and totaled her car. Neither of them was injured, and I drove them home the twelve miles. Glad my car is still working and I was able to do it. Getting the mail sorted and the trash part into the bin immediately is just a way of life for me - but not for my roommates. Still have mail from last October to deal with for a couple of them. But I have now got it stacked for them.11

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedHad a bowl of the hm soup - the fixes worked - now has ‘depth’ as well as flavour 👏 Dinner was fish finger sandwiches for DH (more space in the freezer 🙂) DSis & I shared the small brisket pie accompanied by peas (from the freezer) Fingers crossed I should be able to defrost the freezer by the end of February 🤞 (without resorting to moving food to the garage freezer) Wudupa.

vulpix, ouch 🤕 hope this doesn’t mean you will have to wait on him hand & foot 🤣 sorry couldn’t (wouldn’t) resist 😉 That seems quite a reasonable waiting time 🙂 Yippee to MIL - she is a strong woman 🙂 Hadn’t heard of Sanderson fabrics so googled - gorgeous fabrics so well done on accepting it 👏Well done florianatwobob 👏 keeping the momentum going.bit_by_bit it all sounds way too much trouble for someone as lazy as me 😉😉
weenancyinAmerica, very pleased your friend & her passenger escaped injury. What a kind & generous woman you are 👏🙂 not only donating food but also taking them home. Then carrying on with decluttering your home & helping your roommates 👏 You are a marvel 😇MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Not much done today but I did finish thorough clean of all kitchen cupboards. Need to clean cooker and perhaps sort freezer again but that will wait until after a few days away.
292 Did a few updates on computer - on instructions of 6 year old - grandma you need to do something with that red symbol up there.
293 - 294 Sorted children's 'crockery' drawer and got rid of some of the drinking cups and plates. They mostly use ordinary china now but there are a few bowls and plates we still use
295 Kitchen cupboard deep clean and sort finished. All outside of doors and drawers done as well as inside.
Need to go to bed as long drive tomorrow.2025 Decluttering Campaign 691/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Hi all, I have yet to start selling on 3bay so I am definitely not at all knowledgeable but I wonder if anyone has tried 3bid as my understanding is there are no charges for sellers on this site. It might be worth looking at the fb marketplace as well as a lot of my friends seem to use this.
@vulpix I see Sanderson fabric is selling for £26 a meter, minimum, in etsy11 -
Right !
I have not been shirking.........
9 days with mum and brother. I would say a good 8 black bags of both my mum and dad's clothes. I wanted to keep most of it. Strange, it was sad and comforting at the same time. Kept one or two of my dad's thermal vests. Very much his thing so he will carry on keeping me warm as he did in so many ways all through my life.
The rest went to a specific charity of my Mum's choosing. That brought her comfort.
Back home, lots of 'like with like' going on. One bag of stuff definitely gone so 10/70.
Am not counting anything I do at Mum's. And forgot to mention the frogs. One HUGE one sorted for her and a few little ones.
Have not completely caught up on this thread so genuine love and hugs to all those that need it. And even to those that don't !

I have some of my father's old ties. The elephant one always brings a smile to my face.Spent Monday moving furniture around. New sofa bed into lounge, old sofa into our lounge diner, but have cleared the packaging to be recycled and gotten rid of old carpet in hallway.Have had a rethink about the lounge diner area, which now means more stuff to get rid of as we like the new feel of the room and don't want to needlessly clutter it up. We are sticking to our plan of not moving boxes around without sorting through them properly first.Won't be doing any more decluttering as we have the downstairs hall to sand, stain and varnish this week, but that will mean we can then start hanging pictures and clearing out boxes.May you find your sister soon Helli.
Sleep well.11 -

my dad had loads of really good ties, including the fat one's from the 70's. But we cannot find them. Also his really good coats. It's a mystery.

just a suggestion in case you haven’t heard already , there are people who can make teddies or cushions out of loved ones old clothes. You may be handy and can do this yourself. Then you can give them a hug when you want to xFocus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.8
