I've been eyeing this size of baking tray on the web for ages but not taking the plunge as I'd use it very rarely so to get such a good quality one second hand is perfect and judging by the sleeve being firmly stuck on it's never been used. I'm also ecstatic about the bottle brush as mine is a silicon one with a rather thick central spindle and doesn't fit into some smaller bottle necks.3

^^ What you can't see are the massive cake tins snd Bundt pans stacked at the back of the cupboards!Lots are BN, but much of the silicone ware comes from the chazzer as they are much more reasonably priced. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.6 -

Can I ship the youngest to you for education? Just recognising let alone on the usage… He’s a good lad, and has been putting fresh hot food in front of his bereaved granny with great thoroughness & she’s eating!6

Did the rounds of Northallerton today but nothing of interest to be had. Touching to see all the flowers and messages left in the designated space in the high street tho.
@Cherryfudge. At long last I’m going to be in Bedale in time for the car boot sale next Saturday! What is the best time to get there please?4 -

As for silicon pans - I've only got 2 tiddly ones bought for the express purpose of taking the extra muffin batter that won't fit in the 12 muffin tray. They're mini loaf ones, about 4 inches long and 2 across. They work very nicely, ungreased, but need to be on a tray before filling. Because of the weight of the batter (banana oatmeal, very dense) they tend to bulge a bit in the midsection which of course metal pans wouldn't do. Wash up easily but never actually look/feel clean to me.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I'm thinking of volunteering at my favourite BHF shop as they're currently asking for volunteers so was wondering what advice people on here would give me, is there anything I should ask when they get in touch and that sort of thing."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

I had the chillier weather in mind and I went to two charity shops this morning. One was a more expensive shop and I bought a red Liz Claiborne top, a pair of panda bear slippers and a grey Next cardigan that looked very warm. That was £20.
Then I went to a much cheaper shop and I managed to get 4 items from the £1 rail. A F&F beige jumper and a George beige jumper that I will probably only wear inside the house as beige is not my colour but they both looked very thick and warm. A black and white H&M shirt and a Papaya black cardigan were also £1. I got my dog a 50p teddy to play with and a wooden box that I am going to use to hold my remotes and our mobile phones. I looked in the men's section and got a navy jumper for my husband and a black hoodie for me. That was all £14.2025 GOALS

A very good haul, @Wednesday2000!
Spring form tins: I have several and while I've not had problems with them leaking, the batter does ooze into the overlap in my experience and eventually residue makes them jam. (Okay if you want to make jam, I suppose...)
I'd suggest a thorough scrub with the spring mechanism wide open after use: a dishwasher wouldn't get in there. Also a little spot of cooking oil if the tin is put away for a while.
The linen shirt I bought the other day has an unexpected drawback: the buttons keep popping open!I'm away at present and repairs will have to wait till I get home.
